Emilia was what you could almost call a foodaholic. She loved all different types of foods, could eat for days and could become seriously hangry. Emilia liked to go to the Mystic Grill because it had good food that Emilia could actually afford. Her favorite food was the breakfast burrito because it was so goddamn good. However, that only lasted for a couple of days because her money started to wear thin.
To Emilia, it was slightly frustrating that all these people despite all their supernatural problems always seemed ok money-wise. She was never going to ask Klaus for money because she was always an independent spirit. She liked to do things herself and show that she was able to survive on her own. Luckily for Emilia, Jenna needed some help. Jenna offered to pay Emilia to be her assistant. Emilia was beyond grateful and immediately accepted. She was also lucky because it gave her more excuses to be at the Gilbert House and keep an eye on Elena if she was there.
Today, the Gilbert House was exactly where Emilia would be. Jenna had texted her this morning telling her she needed help giving some family things to a historian who was new in town. Emilia had a hunch that it was going to be Elijah and agreed to meet Jenna.
Emilia walked over to the Gilbert House and made it there in a little under half an hour. She walked in to see Jenna and waved at her. "Hey, Jenna!"
"Hey Emilia! So before we start I just wanted to show you where all the different items are."
"Ok."
Jenna then walked around the bottom level of the house. She pointed out where all the boxes were that needed to be collected. At the end of the tour, they heard a knock on the door. "Hello, Jenna. Do you have the information I requested?"
Jenna responds gesturing with her hand. "Yea it's right here. Come on in."
Elijah steps inside. "You have a lovely home, Jenna." Elijah looks to Emilia. "And who might you be?"
Emilia answers kindly. "I'm Emilia. Just here to help Jenna out."
"It's a pleasure." Elijah holds out his hand for Emilia to shake and she does. When they touch, Elijah looks at Emilia coming to a realization but says nothing of it.
Jenna then leads Elijah and Emilia to a closet to help carry out some boxes. Elena comes down the stairs loudly to see Jenna searching in a closet. Elena asks Jenna. "Hey, what are you doing?"
Jenna doesn't respond and hands a box to Emilia. "Here you go."
Emilia holds the box easily while Elena asks. "What is this stuff?"
Jenna responds to Elena. "Your mom's files from the Historical Society. I got roped into helping Mrs. Lockwood and by roped, I mean very excited to participate."
