What in the world happened to Lauren, no one should beat such a perfect person. Yeah I know what I was thinking in the beginning, I was gonna make her fall for me in the blink of an eye. Well it's been almost a month since I got to Georgia, and I've made no progress on that part, but I have developed a crush on her but I don't know if she feels the same way.
"You should invite Lauren over for supper tonight," Mom says
I look at her with raised eyebrows.
"We've been here nearly a month and we barely know the girl," Dad tells me
"Fine." I sigh
"It was really weird how that guy proposed to that girl last night," Mom speaks
"Yeah, who proposes in front of over a hundred people?" Dad asks
"I'm just gonna go ask Lauren if she wants to come to dinner," I say
"Alright," Mom says smiling
I walk out our front door and to my car. I then drive over to Lauren's house and get out. I find Lauren giving a horse a bath. I walk over to the pair and lean against the fence.
"Hey," I smirk
"Oh, hi Alex." Lauren turns around
"What are you doing tonight?" I ask
"Nothing that I can think of," Lauren says
"Come over for supper, mom and dad have requested it." I smile
"I think I can do that, what time?" Lauren asks
"6:30," I reply
"K, see you later," Lauren says turning back around
With that, I walk back to my car and drive back to my house. I open the door and mom and dad look at me.
"She'll be here at 6:30," I say
