Chapter 1:Someone special

My name is Y/N L/N and I live in the city of "Dead man's forest" ,called after the forest surounding it.
Me and my dad moved here after mom pased away.

I was standing near the window of my house ,looking at the forest near us. To tell you the truth this damn forest always scared the crap out of me, because peoaple who disapear in this city are found hanged with their own intestins hanging around their neck in a tree.

Why?Because of her....the faceless woman. She is the reason mom isnt here today with me and dad .

It all happened when i was 7 , I can still remember it like it was yesterday.

### FLASHBACK ###

I was in my bed sleeping peacefully until i heard some very heavy footsteps from downstairs , of course like any child I got up to see what the comotion was about....It was a mistake , I should have stayed in ben that night because then I would not see the horror that awaited me.

I went to the hall , my room was at the end so when i started to go to the stairs each second I could hear not only the steps ,but something tearing and somenthing being splatered on the floor.

When I got to the stairs i could hear the heavy walking stop and a familiar voice saying:

Mom: You know I thought you would be taller. Said my moms foice followed by a chuckle.

I was now at the last step of the stairs and i could see the grusome sight.
My mom was standing with her back against a wall while also on the ground , half of her was set on the table and she had cuts all over her upper torso.

Then also there was standing that....that thing. It was a humanoid creature with female aspect and also was wearing a suit. It was as tall as the room and could see from her/its back formed 8 tentacles , her skin was pale and she had no facial expresion.

Tears started pouring down my cheeks , while mom was looking at me with what looked like a smile.

Y/N:Mommy. I said while running at her ignoring the figure.

I went and huged her.

Mom:Dont worry for me Y/N im fine. She said with a line of blood falling from her mouth.

Y/N :Mom I-

Mom cut me short and said:

Mom:Shhh , I know how you must feel but please go back to sleep, tomorrow when you wake up this will be just a bad dream. She said with her sweet smile that always made me feel safe.

Mom:Please take him to his room so we can end this.

The creature said nothing but took me with a tentacle and lifted me up into its arms. I tryed to move and get to mom but the creature would not let me.
It took me in my room put me on my bed and tuck me in. I kept on crying and trying to kick the creature.

When it finished i left and close the door. I left my bed and started kicking on the door.

Y/N:You leave my mom alone you hear me . I yelled at the creature.

Of course the door was opened only in the morning by my dad and once i saw it opened i went running down only to see that mom was dead in the same spot as yesterday.

Y/N: why did you lie to me? I said standing on my knees.

From that day everyone was thinking that dad has killed her, they were all so wrong. Dad lost his job and soon after the house so we had to move here because he could find another job in that city. I think I was 13 when we moved here.
