Marinette woke up to her mother pushing her off the bed violently, making Marinette hit the back of her neck, making her squeal in pain" get the hell up you brat, time dor school, I don't want to be responsible for you being late again!" her mother yelled, Tikki could do nothing but watch as her mother kicked her, Marinette cried until her eyes looked red, her mother finally stopped and left through the trapped door, leaving Marinette crying on the floor, Tikki flew towards her and tried her best to comfort her, Marinette stopped crying.

Adrien saw this, he raised his hand"yes Adrien" he asked if he could go sit next to Marinette, Marinette looked up, the teacher said yes, seeing no harm in it, he grabbed his bag and his books and sat beside Marinette and Allya, he rubbed her back comfortingly the entire class" after class, it was lunch now.

Marinette just got an apple and some salad, someone stuck their foot out, making Marinette trip and fall, everyone laughed, Alya and Adrien ran over to her and helped her up, she smacked their hands away and ran out of the Cafeteria, Adrien told Alya to wait there as he ran after her, she ran out the school, and Adrien followed, she stopped, she couldn't run anymore and this allowed Adrien to catch up to her, she cried and cried in his arms telling him she couldn't take it anymore, just repeating it over and over" it's gonna be alright, I've got you" Alyla soon shows up" oh God, is she alright, I saw what they did to her in there" Ayla said rubbing her back as she cried in Adrien's arms.

Hours later...

Marinette and Adrien skipped school and just said they were sick, since the nurse wasn't there they were let off, Marinette and Adrien hung out all day, they actually ended up staying at his house, Marinette was relieved that she was finally free of her mother's beatings, at least for now, she knew she would get beat when she went back home, but if she got at least one day without a beating, she was happy, and Tiki was to, Tiki was tired of seeing what that evil woman did to her Marinette and Adrien watched a horror movie, Marinette didn't wanna spoil it for the horror-loving fanatic, Adrien, Adrien looked over to Marinette to see if she was enjoying the movie.
