CHAPTER 13
"Ang ganda ng mata ni Gael!" Tita said. I think Mama liked Kuya's friends. Lalo na si Kuya John at Nash. Sila lang daw kasi 'yung tahimik.
After I told Tita about Gael? Like, he would talk to Gael then she'll looked at me.
"Mayabang na," Kuya sarcastically said.
"Sana all, honey brown," sabi ni Kuya Andy bago nanaan sila nag-tawanan.
"Ab?" Tita called. I looked at her and smiled. "Do you like Gael?" She trailed. "...s eyes?"
Tita!
Oh my god.
I arched my eyebrow at her. She contained her laugh. I gazed at his eyes and nodded. Unti-unting nawawala 'yung ngiti niya. Dahil ba sa titig ko? I don't know. "Yeah, I do."
"What?" Kuya asked. When I looked at him, he was already looking at me, forehead creased. "What did you say?"
I smiled. "I said, I like his eyes."
"Here we go," Kuya Andy said and sat properly. Kuya Nash and John did the same thing. I looked at them with forehead creased when they did the sign of the cross. They even held Gael on his shoulder. "Protect Gael at all cost."
"Gago," Kuya cussed at them.
I was just looking at them, containing my laugh, kahit na I can feel Gael's stares. I just ignored it. But I liked it.
Ew... Did I really said that?
Aalis na sana sila after they played games and ate. But the rain poured. So, they stayed. It only means na makikita ko pa si Gael ng matagal-tagal. At hindi makakauwi si Tita. Maasar niya pa ako kay Gael.
Good thing, nag mura si Kuya.
After doing my homeworks, the rain hasn't stopped yet. Only to find my brother and his friends, drinking. Paano, umalis siguro sila Mama at Tita.
"Hi, Abreu!" Kuya Andy beamed.
"I didn't gave you a permission to talk to her," Kuya said, drunk. Kahit ba naman lasing, OA pa rin?
"Hi, Abreu Gayle!" Gael said. My eyes widen when Kuya attacked him. But they all laughed. Even Gael is laughing. I guess, it's normal? "Hi, Gayle!"
I pursed my lips. Gael, ano ba?!
Ano ba?!
"Isa pang, 'hi Gayle'," Kuya said.
"Hi, Gayle."
I bit my lower lip. Seriously? Ganoon ba kapag nalalasing?
And then there's Gael. Nakatingin lang si Kuya sa kan'ya. He smiled at Kuya. "Gusto ko kapatid mo."
