I wait outside, the raindrops falling around me,

I hear a voice say, I am the rain, pouring my heart out.

A drop falls in my eye, I cannot see,

It says, I am here, I'm a gushing waterspout.

I've been blinded by the beauty of something pure,

But the rain isn't what's flooding my mind, like the memories before.

I try to stay afloat, but I can't swim.

I feel like I'm a sinking boat,

That I found a hole within,

But I shall not drown,

For I'm just a raindrop,

I'm not going down,

Not until the rain stops.
