Brilliance is one that comes at a price.
Lead others to the shore,
But they'll let you drown to your demise.
Be the crutches to the crippling;
A forgotten sacrifice .
Build an empire worth of favours,
And none would ever suffice.
To those whom it may entice,
Such is the gift of brilliance.
And so what if you've sold your soul,
To save another from obliteration?
The gift of brilliance was bestowed upon you;
Youre merely just meeting expectations.
"Eternally cursed are they who are revered"
Few dare defy this devine revelation
