How much longer could she go on like this? She had to take him off her mind, and there was only one way to do that, alcohol, Well 3 ways, alcohol, a smoke and the night sky.

She heard a buzzing noise and looked over to her phone.

1 new message!

She picked it up and threw it across the room. She couldn't handle this right now. She had to get away; with out taking anything with but a bottle of vodka and a pack of smokes, she got up simply walked out her front door.

Heading for the second place she felt any joy at all, The Park. The park reminded her of simpler days, Days with out all the complications that were in her live.

The park was timeless in her mind. The dark scary place that it was. One of the best things at the park was the swings. How she adored them.

She lived off the rush they gave her, the feeling of going back and forth, higher and higher, getting closer to the sky, She lived for it, Sometimes the way she thought about things, made her question her own sanity. Then again, was anyone sane anymore these days?

Her mind was so far off in the clouds to realize that she had walked right passed the park, heading in a whole another direction. Heading for what? Her feet knew, her mind didn't, it usually never knows.

Once again she questioned her own sanity. She thought she was just stupid; her mind wasn't quite catching on to what her feet were thinking.

"Thank god no one can hear me think." She said out loud which made her laugh. She stopped to take a look at her surroundings. "Where am I...?" Her eyes took in the sight of the ocean. More the sight where the ocean meets the sand. In her mind the greatest place to be.

She tried to think of a better feeling then the sand under her feet and the water lapping her toes. Their wasn't one, not even the swings.

She walked to the edge of the water and lit a smoke in her right hand and pressed the bottle in her left hand to her lips, feeling the clear burning liquid going down her throat. Taking a drag and another drink see looked up at the starts.

How beautiful? How lucky? I would give anything to be among them. She threw her head back, barking out a laugh, am I really going to do this?

She stared to walk forward, dropping the smoke and the bottle, walking out into the water until her feet couldn't touch the ground anymore.
