Green Hellfire from Satans Sons

I wake up and see the twins on a couch in front of me fighting over a tv remote, guess they're like a lot of other twins in some regards. The intensity they had before has diminished into playful smirks and funny quirks to their faces as they tussle with each other. A smile edges at the corner of my mouth... until the twin on the right blast's green flames into the left twins' face. I'm tumbling off the sofa within a second and shaking like a crazy bitch, but perhaps I am. My knees hit the floor with a loud crack, drawing the twins gazes to me.

Green mother fucking flames, what the fuck? The twins reacts to my tumble and pull me back up onto my seat together. I put my hand out in some form of kung-fu gesture feeling lame as fuck. I'd laugh at myself if I wasn't fearing for my life. Their faces reverts into angry lines and their intensity is donned again which I expect to see now they're aware I'm awake but surprisingly their angry gazes merge into smirks; I swear I even hear a laugh bubble in their chests. I frown because this is just getting weirder and I don't know if it's better or not the change in how the twins are acting.

"I don't think she knows of our kind brother?"

"It doesn't seem like it, no."

I start to talk and noise resembling words finally come out of my mouth, "what the fuckity fuck was that?!" I croak. They grin, god I'm glad they aren't being intense anymore, they look adorable with those big green eyes and cheeky grins, okay maybe slightly scary still with all the bulk, tatts and piercings. They're also wearing plain black t-shirts now which helps me concentrate better. "She speaks" they say together. Face palm right? I'm sure my mouth is open wide enough to catch a fish from the shock.

"For the short story, we're lucifers sons and we shoot awesome green flames out of our hands that can kill anything other than ourselves and our kind from it." The twin on the right says with deadly seriousness. I laugh, yeah no sanity right? They look at me bemused. My laugh turns into a scream and I drop to the ground to crawl away, huh my arms are feeling better now and a lot stronger, lucky me but I'm still totally fucking useless. I'm crawling away pointless as I'm still in a jet in the sky. Once again arms wrap around my middle and I am hefted back onto the sofa by both the twins. They hover over me with wary faces.

"We should be screaming at you," the left twin says. "We and a few of our friends have sensed you for months. It's been driving us crazy. You smell like dead roses." I screw my face up and say, "eh?" Eloquent I know but what do they mean by dead roses? "We thought it was a prank, like someone was fucking putting a weird airsprary around the halls of the academy but only a few of us could smell it. Trust me we interrogated everyone in the school. We were going fucking nuts. Only me and my brother decided to do something about it, the rest were stubborn thinking it was nothing and blah blah blah" The left twin finished as the right twin starts up, "low and behold, half way across the world we found you even though we don't have a sniffer like a werewolf we fucking did it." The twins high five. "I can still smell it though, it's a bit sweeter close up though isn't it brother?" The other twin reponds with a nod.

Meanwhile I am utterly fucking clueless to the jargon they have spoken. Okay so I knew some weird shit was happening to me with the whole no pain, no breathing etc but seeing green flames from 'satans sons' and them talking about my dead rose smell they tracked across the globe. Yeah it's a bit much if I'm honest. I scrunch up my face, point to the bar and say "vodka please." This is an overload of information.

They chuckle and sort me one out with one which I immediately down, they keep passing me one and soon I feel more perky and relaxed. Probably not the most sensible thing to do in this situation but my mind has been blown so cut me some slack. We spend the rest of the ride in silence. The twins don't push me to talk so they must realise I'm processing. I don't trust them but at the moment I feel a lot better being around them than I did before which is a miracle considering what they are. On my 4th vodka a thought pops up, "Wait, my family. I want to see them." They turn to look at me and both say. "Maybe after we look into what you are the scent we traced." I can see a small glimmer of guilt though. I know what that means, I may never come back from this place. I may die again even for all I know.

What choice do I have though, I'm already on the plane and to be honest I think I need answers to my situation too. I curl into a ball on the sofa and close my eyes, I breathe deeply a few times even though it's pointless. "At least tell me where you're taking me, I really don't like suspense," I mumble. "The academy, our step-mother's the headmistress and might know what you are. Plus we want the other guys who could scent you meet you as well," left twin says. I just sigh, I know I don't have a choice, I'll pick my battles for now until I get the information I want to. I can only hope for the best and at least I'm not in a hole anymore, that's a positive in my book after everything so far.

A fucking castle! Seriously a castle, a black castle too which must take a hell of a lot of effort to paint. I'm gaping through the window as we land on a strip next to it. Counting the windows, it's at least 7 stories tall and hundreds of meters long. There are spirals coming out on each corner and all the windows are stained glass. Deep forest surrounds the castle, looking eerie but the garden between the castle and the forest are overflowing with roses and luscious green grass. I just stare. The twins have to drag me away from the window. One of them carries me against their chest again. I could really do with figuring out which one is which at some point. I've noticed their voices are a bit different in tone. One of them has a smoother voice whilst the others is a bit more ragged.

I think I'm really not prepared for this, especially after seeing the creepy castle.
