JUST A LITTLE BIT OF NERVOUSNESS
As Jungwoo fell on the floor, everything started to go into slow motion for Akina. Johnny ran to him while the pressure on her neck disappeared. The Nurse walked backward, turning around about to make a run for it when Yuta sprinted to her, handcuffing her in a swift motion that everyone that blinked missed it.
Akina's overwhelming emotions and pain that treaded through her made her weak in the knees. When her legs gave out, she was caught by Taeyong, whose mind was raking over what just happen.
The people around them were also in a panic while the sounds of running footsteps came towards them both. The doctors split up into two groups heading to each of the injured. Jungwoo was exasperating for air so hard that tears were slipping out of his eyes.
Akina's head was so dizzy from all of the impacts this situation had put on her. While being in the arms of Taeyong, all she could hear was muffled voices and the sound of the lights above her. Her vision was disoriented entirely for her, Taeyong, and the doctors looked so far away.
At the same time, both of them lost consciousness as the doctors got them on gurneys to the infirmary. As the doctors lead them away from the died down chaos, the two boys who focused on them furrowed their eyebrows.
Before they could contemplate anymore, Taeyong called for backup to come to pick up their suspect so they could stay and see what's wrong with Jungwoo.
When Jungwoo opened his eyes, the light made him squint, and his breathing went shallow as the memories of before played rapidly in his head. Sitting up and looking around in the room, a sort of panic-filled him before even noticing the three who slept in different areas of the hospital room.
He began trying to get out of his bed: he didn't feel any physical pain but instead harbored a tight wrenching pain in his heart. Since they are detectives, the boy's sleep was interrupted easily, and heard the bed creak and small whimpers.
Yuta was the first to awake fully and comprehend the figure in the room and what he was doing, "Hey man sit back down, let me get a nurse." But Jungwoo didn't even register his voice; his mind and body were calling for her. He knew he needed to get to her.
The other two saw that Jungwoo was unresponsive, so the taller one got up and used himself to barricade the area so he couldn't get through. "Jungwoo, you need to sit down," Johnny spoke, resting a hand on his shoulder.
His action got Jungwoo's attention; his body froze at the moment, and his eyes stared at Johnny's face. He didn't sit down. Instead, he pleaded with them all. "I need to see her, please."
Confusion fell on the two in the room, they knew he was either talking about Doctor Sato or Nurse Lee, but in all honesty, they weren't sure. Taeyong cocked his head and softly asked, "Who Jungwoo?"
