I rang the familiar doorbell. I kissed my little girl's forehead as my parents opened the door. Rose was in a basket so they couldn't see her.

"Lilly!" My mother yelled and hugged me. "We haven't seen you since your wedding! How's life as a queen?"

"Good." I smiled. "I wish I could have come back home for a little bit but I wasn't allowed to leave the palace for health reasons."

"Were you sick?" My dad asked.

"A little, but it was all worth it." I smiled.

"What are you talking about?" My mother asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Would you like to meet your granddaughter?" I asked them and they gasped as I showed them the baby in the basket.

My earth mother picked her up and Rose started crying. My mom twirled her around and rubbed her stomach a little but and the crying went to laughing. I smiled.

"What's her name?" My dad asked.

"Rose." I said and my mother handed her back to me.

"Momma." Rose said an laughed before grabbing my nose.

I chuckled and made a fart noise with my tongue. That was her favorite play thing to do. She thought fart noises were so funny.

"Oh, she's just perfect!" My mom said.

"Thank you." I smiled and put her back in the basket. "But I need to ask you something."

"What darling?" My mom asked.

"Just in case of an emergency, do you think you can take care of her for a little bit?" I asked.

"Of course, but I have to ask, why us? I mean, what about your magical parents?" My dad said and my mother nodded.

"Let's just say, if the emergency happens, I want her as far away from the magic dimension as possible." I told them.

"Okay." My mom said.

My phone rang and I picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Lilly, curfew begins in five minutes. Please be home by then." Mathew said.

"Okay yes I promise." I said and hung up. "I'm sorry I have to go. The kingdom is on curfew for protection."

"Be safe." My parents called and I hoped down the steps of my old home.

The fake smile finally rubbed off as soon as I reached the castle. Rose fell asleep and I walked silently throught the castle. I made it to her room and placed her in the cradle before walking to the balcony. I closed the doors behind me and sat on the ledge. I sighed. I wanted so much for my life. I got so much. I got the chance to grow up and go to school with the help of my adoptive parents; I found out I was special; I found out that I am a fairy; I found my parents, my sisters and love. That love resulted in a perfect baby girl. And somehow, I'm not satisfied. I want more. I want to watch my daughter grow up; I want to watch her go to Alfea; I want to live. I guess I better be happy with the time I have left and take ad antage of it. But still, I wonder what her life will be like. Will she be happy? Will she think about me and Mathew? Will she know about us? I want her too. My parents surely will tell her that she is magical and show her old photos of me but I want her to know everything. I went back into her room and sat at a desk. I pulled out a stack of paper and an envelope before I began writing.

First I wrote on the envelope: To my daughter Rose on her sixteenth birthday.

Then I wrote on the paper.

My Darling Rose,

Happy birthday. I wish I could be there but I can't. By the time you read this, the story of how your father and I died will be known throughout the magical world. And all those who know that story will know yours as well. Only, they will think that you perished along with us. Ever since I began my journey as a fairy, I thought that the magical world would be safer than the harsh human world and that it would be a place of light. But I was wrong. Being a fairy means being the light in a dark world. And it was so hard to be that light. Of course, It was not just me. Friendship is what keeps the darkness away. I had my families and my friends to urge me on. And after a short time the world got brighter and brighter and brighter. I met your father and we fell I love. After about four years, we got married and had you. Everything was perfect, but a trio of witches didnt think so. They were called the trix. They promised to destroy my happiness and would bring back the Dark Days, a period of time where my original home planet was cursed. However, everyone survived those Dark Days. The trix promised that there would be no survivors after this curse. So we evacuated everyone who could escape the curse and waited for our faits. Your father and I would do anything to save you so we sent you to earth. There are some things that I have told my parents to keep from you. I do not do this to deprive you of your past or the pain that might come with it. It must be revealed in time, after the discovery, the urge and the finding. Then you will know the whole story. You will know me and you will know your destiny.

Love, Mom

Although some of it had not happened yet, I knew that in time, it would.

I wrote two more letters that night. One to my parents, telling them how I died and that they should not tell her a few certain things like her being a princess. The other, for Rose to open on her eighteenth birthday.

I closed all three letters and went to the closet. I grabbed a big bag. I shoved a buch of baby outfits in there along with her favorite pacifier, her stuffed animal named Scruffy and some diapers. The letters went in next. I placed the bag by the door so I could grab it quickly in case of an emergency.

Mathew came running in. "Oh thank God you're safe."

"What happened?" I asked.

"The trix." He said. "They're here."

I went to the balcony and looked into the distance. A dark purple cloud covered most of our land, and under it was an army of hideous creatures. The trix floated confidently in our direction and i looked back to Mathew.

"Then its time to take her to earth." I said and ran to my daughter's crib.
