Two weeks has past since Luke figured out my secret, but in the past weeks, we've been closer than ever. I'd seldom come to his house and he'd seldom come to mine. Ofcourse with Brian tagged along. Since then, Brian would come hang with us- the band, Rachel and I.

The band's success grew. They were booked mostly every weekend and sometimes, the occasions were not only local talent show, but birthday parties and other big events. They even started a youtube channel, posting videos of themselves doing covers- mostly Luke. Which actually made him a little bit more known than the others, but ofcourse, being the annoying friends that we are, we tease him about it. Mostly Michael and Calum.

Speaking of which, Calum and I have been spending a lot of time together and honestly speaking, I'm glad we are. Somehow Calum always ends up making the best of my day. With the adventures we go to, you'd always feel like you've lived life to the fullest. He's also kinder than he ever was. Too kind actually.

There was this one time, last week. Calum and I just got home from a trip to the hills. We had a little picnic there and enjoyed the day. When he walked me to my door, we did our usual goodbyes and thank yous, but he did something that shocked me. He pressed his palm into my cheek and touched his lips to the other cheek. I was taken aback to which I froze and stared into thin air.

But what was weird was, I felt tingles. I felt myself heat up inside and out and deep down I knew I liked it, but I denied it. Without second thoughts, I went inside and stared up my ceiling to think.

"I can't wait to see them perform tonight." I heard a hint of Rachel's voice speaking.

As of right now, the three of us- Rachel, Brian and I -were sitting at a table, waiting for the boys to perform for a sweet 16th birthday party. When the boy's were called to stage, hands of applauses were given.

"Hello everyone. We're 5 Seconds of Summer and we're going to play something that Calum-" he said gesturing to Calum, making Calum wave. "and Michael-" he did the same. "wrote themselves."

A strum of intro played as Luke contacted the pick to his string.

Even when the sky is falling down
Even when the earth is crumbling 'round my feet

Even when we try to say goodbye
And you can cut the tension with a knife in here

Cause I know what'll happen
If we get through this

And if the earth ends up crumbling down to its knees baby
We just gotta get out
We just gotta get out
And if the skyscrapers tumble down and crash around baby
We just gotta get out
We just gotta get out

Calum and Michael wrote this? This is beautiful.

'Cause I feel so damn lost
And it comes with a cost of being alone

Everything is falling down
We're suffering, helpless thoughts and
Out we sing, prayers go to the sky

And if the earth ends up crumbling down to its knees baby
We just gotta get out
We just gotta get out
Gotta get, gotta get, gotta get out
And if the skyscrapers tumble down and crash around baby
We just gotta get out
We just gotta get out

Calum looked at me. He looked at me with eyes trying to say something I couldn't understand. After attempts of trying to understand, he just smiled at me and I smiled back.

And if we fall
It's not your fault
Shadows covering
Our selfish foes
And as our love,
Can go out on a high note
