"At first, when the sky came to be, the moon was dim and lightless. As darkness fell upon the land at the end of each day, and the sky grew dark and empty, the stars would wake from their daytime slumber and gather for their midnight ball."
All the stars where in that giant hall, talking, laughing and dancing. Joy were all across the hall, while the Moon, who was a man in reality, was searching for someone to dance with him. Each time he goes around a group of stars, they either ignore him, stare at him or go away.
As time passes, sadness fill him. His heart broke a little more each time someone rejected him. His difference was probably scaring them away. He was different of the others by his dark mask and suit, by his dark hair, his light skin and his dull blue eyes. The stars were all radiant, dressed in sparkling white dresses, eyes all sort of color, reminding nebulae. Their blonde hair was neatly groomed and adorned with sparkling jewelry, some of them have red or even blue hair. Their riders were also resplendent. They were all shining brightly, unlike him. The night was about to end when he decided to leave, not wanting to be rejected again.
He will try again tomorrow
The next night, he watched in silence everyone dancing and enjoying the night. The moon know that the same scenario would happen again if he try to approach them. The night passes and, when he was about to leave, the giants doors opened slowly. All the stars looked at the door and admired the shining that emanated from behind them. Someone was standing there, someone shining more brightly than everyone else in the ball room. It was a male, cleanly dressed in gold and a transparent white shirt. His pants were white with gold design, his hair were blonde and also had gold jewelry in it. He was breathe taking.
The Moon was in shock that such a beautiful person existed, his smile made his heart skip a beat before accelerating like crazy. His stomach was filled with something he never experienced before.
Everyone in the hall was hypnotised by him, all the eyes were on this person. The stars knew his name.
‹ -It's San ! ›
The Sun started walking, entering the hall still smiling and waving at the stars. He answered them and started talking with them. The moon couldn't stop looking at him and, when their eyes met, his heart skipped another beat. San smile widened looking at the moon. Terror filled the eyes of the stars accompanying the Sun. They took his arms and walked away with him.
The Moon was devastated, heart broken while watching the person that make him feel special, disappear in the crowd. He felt like he should leave, starting to walk toward the exit. Nobody wanted him.. He stopped walking. That's false, maybe the other would accord him attention.
He turned around and started walking toward the male, determined to ask him if he could grant him a dance.
The stars watched him walk and then, realize what he had in mind. They tried to stop him, blocking him from walking further. The Moon didn't stopped there, he managed to pass under their legs. But while doing this, he lost his balance, falling on the ground and losing his mask. He got up quickly and was about to pick up his mask when he realised the Sun in front of him. The Moon invited him awkwardly for a dance, placing his left hand behind his back, while offering the right one to the other. He closed his eyes, sure he was going to be rejected again.
‹ -W-Would you grant me a dance..?
-With pleasure. ›
He opened his eyes in shook and smiled, feeling his heartbeat speed. A warm hand wrapped his hand, and at the simple touch of the blonde, the hand of the Moon became brighter, like his suit. Instead of being black and lightless, his suit became a shiny grey, same as his hair. His skin who was pale, started taking color. His eyes were now shining and he couldn't stop smiling. He was so happy.
‹ -What is your name?
-Wooyoung. › He says, still smiling widely.
‹ -You have a pretty name. ›
They continued dancing, smiling at each other and appreciating the presence of the other.
Wooyoung couldn't be more happier than now, dancing with this beautiful and kind person. Even if his hands started burning at the warm contact of the other on his cold skin. His smile didn't faded away for that. They talked and laughed together, learning to know each other. The more he learned about San, the more he was falling for him. His heart was beating for the one in front of him. He loved all about him, his cute smile, his laugh, his voice, his body heat.
The tallest put his hand on the other cheek. His skin burned like his hands did. The look on San's face was now filled with terror. He removed his hand and wanted to go away, seeing what he inflicts the other. The younger held him, not wanting him to leave him. The Sun was still scared, but seeing the sad look the other had, he decided to finish the dance.
They continued dancing, in front of the stars, who were amazed. Their dance was ethereal and captivate everyone in the hall.
Once they finished dancing, San hesitate a little and kissed Wooyoung. Showing how much he loved and appreciated the other. The kiss was soft and gentle. They let go of eachother and smiled.
"Ever since, the moon has been illuminating the night sky with the sun's light. Shining brighter and more exquisite than any star. And once in an eternity, when his scars heal, he finds him for another dance."
