“The next part of the exams are starting. Are you ready?” Gittarackur asked, looking down at Aika who merely nodded his head and stood up. He walked past both males, refusing to even take notice of them in slight fear that they’d change him even more than he's already changed. Hisoka took note of the younger males sudden urge to ignore them, smirking in slight triumph. Gittarackur glared back at Hisoka, knowing what he was going to do, even before he did it. “What? Can’t I have my fun too?” he asked, not really caring what the other male would say. Gittarackur didn’t bother answering, turning his head and walking away from him and entering the next part of the exams. Aika stood near the same boy from the start of the exams. Thinking back, Aika tried to remember his name, completely forgetting it. “Gon right?” he asked, looking down at the smaller boy. The boy looked up at him with a smile plastered on his face. “That’s me! You’re Aika right? The guy from the start of the exams?” Gon questioned, slightly curious. Aika simply nodded his head before turning his head away again. “Oh cool. Do you know what we’re doing?” Gon asked, looking back at the taller male with blue hair. Aika didn’t bother looking down at him, he merely shook his head. “Who knows really” he continued. Gon looked forward again as his other friends walked over to the small boy. In slight curious, Aika looked back at the blonde and the blonde, known as Kurapika, also looked. “You’re the person that hung out with Hisoka… right?” he asked, fully turning his attention to Aika. The bluette decided to pay the same respect and also turn his full attention to Kurapika. “It wasn’t my choice but yes. And you’re… Kurapika…” Aika stated, a slight cautiousness settled upon him the more he talked to the unknown male in front of him. Kurapika held out his hand for a friendly handshake, with caution, Aika took his hand, shaking it gently, “Pleasure to meet you” Aika continued. Releasing his hand, Aika turned his head away, looking at the examiner that sat at a huge desk. “Shall we begin?” she asked, looking around at the contestants.
Aika went and stood behind one of the many cooking areas after hearing the challenge is to merely cook. “Food hunters? What a joke!” one of the contestants said, laughing soon after his comment. The examiner, Menchi, scowled at him. “Idiots” Aika muttered, catching the attention of the clown himself. “Hmm~? And why’s that?” he poked in, making his way towards the male. Aika looked towards Hisoka with a slight annoyance written on his face before returning to looking at the examiner. “The silent treatment?” the clown continued, trying to get the younger male to talk. Hisoka pulled Aika closer to him, in which Aika shoved him away. “Stop it, would you?” he finally spoke, ignoring the glare that his one and only fiance was sending towards Hisoka. Aika fell silent again, causing Hisoka to sigh and move closer to the male. With a sigh, Aika moved away, making his way to the group that he met recently. “Awe~ you’re no fun” Hisoka complained. Gon jumped at the sudden voice that he heard from behind. “Mind if I work next to you?” Aika asked, still feeling the gaze of Hisoka on him. “Sure! It’ll be fun with another friend!”. All while Hisoka stared at Aika, another pair of eyes fell onto him also. And it happened to come from a boy with white hair and was close to Gon. “Aika… right?” he asked, walking out from behind Gon and looking up at him. Aika looked down at the small boy, having not noticed him earlier. “Killua” he said with a slight bow to show respect. Killua stood side by side with Gon, holding his arm in a protective manner. “Where’s my brother? I would have expected for you to stay next to him, considering the engagement and all” he decided to say, his grip tightening around Gon slightly. Aika continued to look, now realizing that Illumi hadn’t told his brother that he was taking the exams or some other reason. “I haven’t an idea where he is, I just happen to take the exams for mission purposes” he claimed. Killua felt a slight sense of bloodlust illuminating from Aika, considering last time they met, they were the ones to have gotten married, but due to technical issues, Illumi decided to take his place. “Still on the run?” Aika asked, knowing full well of the great escape Killua did. That comment earned bloodshot eyes coming from Killua, before he sent a threatening glare towards Aika. “Don’t you dare bring that into this conversation” he continued. Aika refused to show any emotion towards his threat. “Just know, the moment you step foot into your household again, the arrangement will be between you and I”. Aika then turned his head away. “And I don’t plan on breaking the arrangement our family’s made” he ended, now refusing to answer Killua's threatening glare.
The exams started, walking out into the forest that grew near the exams, Aika walked alongside Gon and the others. His fist in his pockets with his eyes focus on searching for the boars that the examiner spoke about. A soft sigh left his mouth as he came to a stop. Gon, noticing him, looked back at Aika, slightly concerned about his sudden uninterest in the exams. "Aika… you okay?" He asked, slowly making his way towards the older male. Aika pressed his back against a tree, slowly sliding down until he was seated on the grassy ground. "Yeah, I'm fine. The heels are just starting to hurt" he answered, pulling them off as he start to massage his feet. Gon continued to gaze at Aika, wanting to question him about the shoes but utterly refusing to do so. "You can continue. I'll catch up when I can". The bluette gave Gon the all clear to leave him, however, Gon walked towards Aika and held out his hand. "How about you take the heels off for a bit, huh? You can put them on later". Gon smiled happily, a small giggle leaving his lips. "I'm fine. Trust-" "c'mon Gon, there won't be any left if we don't leave now" Killua decided to interrupt. Gon retracted his hand and looked back at Killua. Aika also looked at Killua, not knowing what to feel regarding his sudden sentence. "Listen to your friend, Gon. I'll be fine" he continued to push forwards. Gon sighed out in defeat, walking to Killua. Before they walked away, he turned back to Aika "pass the test, okay?" He stated, leaving soon after. Aika pulled off his other heel, turning his head to the skies. Sis… what do I do? He asked, knowing the answer won't be said. "Sister? I'm learning something new about you every minute" a familiar voice chirped up. The bluette huffed out, looking back at the clown that stood there, gazing at him. "Hisoka. What do you want?" He asked, leaving his heels as he stood to his feet. "What I've wanted from the start of the exams, of course. Yo-" before he could finish his own sentence, the bluette had completely vanished, leaving his heels there. With a smirk, Hisoka tried to sense where he had left but came up empty. "How… fun".
Aika appeared behind Gon and Killua, his bare feet walking along the grassy land of the forest. Gon looked back, seeing his friend as a smile appeared. Killua, however, noticed his missing heels, tensing up from the sight. "Aika! I'm glad you're okay! I was so worried" Gon said, the smile on his face never leaving. "Your heels… where are they?" Killua butted in, walked towards the 2. He pulled Gon behind him, glaring at Aika. "Let's just say I had to make an escape from… a clown" he answered, ignoring the glare and walking passed the 2 entirely. Kurapika noticed the bluette's aura had changed. It seemed more dense, more… annoyed. "Hey kid! Look out-" Leorio screamed. Before he could 'save' Aika from the boar heading directly at him, Aika had already killed the boar, a large part of his skull lodged into a tree. Bloodshot eyes surrounded the boy, terrified from his sudden outbreak. Aika ignored the eyes, walking towards his boar with a trail of bloody footprints to follow. He grabbed the tusk and started to drag the beast back to the exams trial. Gon watched the male haul the huge beast as if it were nothing. Before he could properly make it back, a certain clown played him a visit, holding his heels. "Surprise" he said, smirking at his boar. It was easy to notice the part of the skull missing from its forehead, which only made him more excited. Aika let the boar go for a moment, walking towards the clown and taking back his heels. "I will say this once. Don't try and tame what you can't. Leave me alone" he spat at him, taking his boar and walking away. Hisoka laughed, looking back at Aika. "Oh no… I'm starting to get excited"
