General POV

Five year old Luna ran into her parents room at 6 am. The little golden retriever following at her heels.

The door busted open and both puppy and child jumped onto the big bed. Spencer was up the second the door opened and Jess was up when she felt the bed move under the extra weight.

The dog was jumping and running around on the bed. The tail moving so fast you could feel the wind created. Luna was jumping up and down too. Getting too close to Jess, Spencer grabbed the hyper child and started tickling her.

The squeal the child let out was way too high for 6 am.

"LET ME GO, DADDY!!!!"

Spencer tickled her a little more before he set her on the floor by the bed.

"Go to the kitchen. I'll be there in a second." Luna ran out of the room with the puppy following. Spencer laid on his back and ran a hand through his hair.

He just finished a case and was back at the house at 3 am. He was running off of the left over caffeine from his abundance of coffee. He was going to need another pot to make it through the morning. Jess rolled over and put her hand on his chest. Spencer looked over at his wife and grabbed the hand that was on his chest and kissed the knuckles.

Jess caught his eyes and smiled at him.

"Morning, handsome. So much for sleeping in," Jess laughed.

Spencer laughed and greeted her with a kiss to the forehead and then her lips. "Morning, gorgeous. Ready for today?"

Jess shook her head. "Not even the slightest, but it's not every day our baby girl turns 5."

Spencer breathed out a loud sigh. "That's true. Gotta face it sooner or later." Jess patted his chest where his heart is and moved out of bed.

"Might wanna go see what YOUR daughter is doing in the kitchen. Sounds like she's already into everything," Jess said laughing. Spencer laughed at his wife and walked out of the bedroom. He would get dressed in presentable clothing after breakfast was made.

"Hey, Spence... Love you nerd."

Spencer smiled at her over his shoulder. "Everyday."

When Spencer got to the kitchen, he saw Luna at the table with her book. She had her juice sitting in the middle of the table while she had the book in her lap. A position that everyone has seen Spencer in when he is reading. Spencer smiled at the sight of his little girl.

About 20 minutes later, Jess came down the stairs with the twins. One on each hip. One boy and one girl. Greyson and Jade Reid. The one-year- old set of blue eyed babies. Garcia nicknamed them the dynamic duo and mini Reid's (making fun of the mini me's you see on internet posts).

Jess put them in their chairs and walked over to her husband. She wrapped her arms around his torso as he stood there fixing the last pancake. He reached over to his right and grabbed the coffee he set out for Jess and handed it to her. She gladly took it and stepped away to drink the liquid. The youngest's kid's plates were done so Jess started cutting up the pancakes into smaller pieces for them to pick up and chew.

Jess also made the drinks for breakfast. She set them on the table for the rest of the family while Spencer plated the last pancake. He gave Jess her plate and took his own and Luna's to the table.

"Put the book up, Moon. Time to eat."

The little girl held up a finger to signal she needed a second. "Let me finish this page. It's at a good part."

Jess put her hand over her mouth to quite her laughing. It wouldn't set a good impression if one parent laughed and the other was trying to achieve something.

"You just started that page. It will still be here when you finish eating. Mark your place and eat."

Luna knew better than to argue with her dad about it so she took the sticky note and marked the sentence she ended on. She handed the book to her mom to take care of.

Jess put the book on the kitchen counter behind her. Spencer pushed the plate of food in front of her and together, all five of them ate breakfast.
