The Escape

How it all started...

As soon as the lights turned off and everyone went to bed,I knew it was time to start executing my plan. I started packing my clothes and the few belongings I had in my old school bag.

Then, I waited until the so called "warden" of the orphanage finished her last check to make sure everyone was asleep. I was at the end of her way,I closed my eyes as she opened my room's door,my roommate was already deep asleep.

She left,it was time. I waited a few minutes then grabbed the few things I owned before opening my door as quietly as possible,then slowly started making my way to the exit.

There I was,in front of this door I walked in for the first time so many years ago,after my parents perished from a car accident. This door I wished I would never see again. Of course,it was locked. I used my skills (which are mostly made of YouTube tutorials) to unlock the door.

There it was,the outside world. I haven't stepped outside of this orphanage for a very long time,what if I got lost?

This doesn't matter,I executed the first part of my plan. Now,I had to go to my future home. I called Kelly,a girl I have met online,even with the strict orphanage rules about outside contacts. I started typing her phone number

first ring...
Another one...

After what seemed like an eternity,she picked up:
-Hello? Kelly? What took you so long?!
-Um..Hey Alexander
-What's wrong? You seem like you have something to say
-Yeah,about that...I won't be able to welcome you at my place.
-Why?? I just got out of the orphanage,I have nowhere to go!
-I just can't...I wish you a good life.
-Wha-
She hung up...
-What will I do now?

Here I was,outside of my orphanage,with nowhere to go. Where will I sleep? How will I eat? There was no time to waste,I had to find shelter for the night ...
