[Salvatore Boarding House]

Waking up  in Damon's arms was something that Alura would never get used to. No matter how many times it happens. It's never been emotional between them. They care for each other as friends yes. The sex just sort of happened one time in the 80s and has been a thing since.
Damon and Alura both roll over as they wake up. "We should do that more often." He states with a smirk.

"You wish. Get up, I'm feeling quite spiteful today and there's a certain doppelgänger on my hit list." Alura states, a murderous glint in her eyes.

"You and me both." Damon says before kissing the top of her head and walking into his bathroom.

"You see I meant killing one, not sleeping with one." Alura jokes.

"Two birds one stone." He shouts back, making her laugh. Alura shakes her head at the idiot before speeding to her own room to change.

-----------

Damon and Alura were enjoying their time together in the living room (AKA day drinking and plotting murders), much to the annoyance of Stefan. He was bummed about Elena and pissed because of Katerina causing his relationship to break. Alura considered that they weren't exactly being comforting, but moping around doesn't solve problems...
Around noon Caroline called Alura frantic, she said something about Matt, the Grill, and Katherine. Alura couldn't understand her with how fast she was talking so she asked her to come over.

---------

Caroline is sitting on the couch. Damon gives her a glass of blood as Ali drags Stefan into the room. "Here." Damon says handing her a glass of blood to help her calm down.

"I'm still shaking." She says taking the glass and sipping a little.

"What happened?" Stefan asks instantly concerned.

"Go ahead, tell him. You're gonna love this." Damon says having heard the phone call.

"I saw Katherine today." Caroline blurts.

"Where?" Stefan asks instantaneously.

"At the Grill. I just stopped by to gawk and... quasi-stalk Matt." She explains.

"Skip the teen drama and get to it." Damon jumps in. Alura nudges him to tell him not to rush the poor girl.

"Then I had to pretend to use the bathroom even though I didn't really have to go because I'm a doofus." She continues.

Apparently, that's when Katherine arrived pretending to be Elena, who Care knew was at her house. She had tried to get away but failed. Katherine then told her that she needed Care to deliver a message. "What was the message?" Stefan asks

"Tell Alura, Damon and Stefan that I want the moonstone, or I will rip this town apart until it rains blood." She recalls.

"Tell him the rest of it." Alura says, tightening the hold on her glass.

"Tonight, at the masquerade ball." Caroline finishes the message. They all look at each other knowing that this isn't good.

"She wants to do it in public. Killing Mason threw her off guard." Stefan states.

"She's running scared. What she did to Jenna was desperate. She's out of tricks." Damon says, clearly underestimating her.

"We can't underestimate her. We have to play this smarter than her." Alura states, setting her glass down.

"Can we just give her the moonstone, so she'll leave?" Caroline asks desperately.

"No, Katherine's not getting dick. I've had it. I'm gonna go to the masquerade ball and I'm gonna kill her, tonight. Problems solved." Alura states, standing up.
