Chapter one- practising

Ok so this is my first book so please give me advice. Please fan me. ;)

Chapter one. Practising

I couldn't breath. I have no idea where i am but i know that i am gonna die. I start to struggle hoping to shove off whoever was suffocating me, and then I see their eyes. I stare into their eyes as they stare back at me. As soon as I see those eyes I know exactly who it is. They are the most beautiful electric blue eyes, with gold patches threw out them. I stop struggling and the person gets off me. I sit up in bed and just stare at her.

"What the hell is your problem." I whisper.

My little sister just sits there and smiles at me. My Foster parents think she is crazy, she always says weird things about stuff that hasn't happened yet. I hate my foster parents they get angry at her for no reason. I mean come on she is only 10. I love her and defend her when she gets in trouble, I will do anything to protect her because she is the only family I have since I have never met my real parents.

"Shhhhh, come on Katerinia we don't have much time!" She whispered/yelled.

I hated when she called me that she knew I liked her to call me Kate or Katie but I put up with it since she seemed so excited about something.

"Where are we going, Belicia?" I asked as she pulled me out of my room and down the stairs.

"You'll have to wait and see, but we have to hurry because we are leaving so soon." She sighed

After we went threw the kitchen she pulled me outside into the snow. She shivered and I laughed and gave her my jacket I have never felt the cold. She dragged me to the swing and made me sit down, much to my protests.

"Um Bel what did you mean when you said We are leaving soon? I asked

She looked at me like I was stupid.

"Just don't worry about that at the moment" she sighed. "Now watch this."

She sat down on the snow and stared at it. Ten minutes passed and nothing happened.

"Um Bel I don't want to interrupt or anything but nothi-"

She cut me off with a loud shhhh. I was quiet after that and then finally when another five minutes passed I started to get up and leave. Then all of a sudden there was water droplets all around me like someone had turned off the gravity. I was shocked at first but then shook my head in disbelief.

"Wow bel you have been practicing without me." I murmured in disbelief.

This was mine and bel's secret we could do things other people couldn't. She said we were gifted and that one day I would be the strongest gifted being alive. I didn't believe her though. After another twenty minutes we stopped practicing and I went back inside to get ready for school.Great. Hell was gonna break loose today and I'm gonna be the one that everything is aimed at. I couldn't wait.

As soon as I got inside I was getting yelled at.

"Katerinia you little piece of shit come here right now." My mother Emma yelled

I just ignored her and went strait up stairs with Belicia in tow. I went into my room and got ready for school. Once I was finished I went back down stairs once again ignoring the shouting. I got two Pieces of bread out and quickly toasted them with my hands. That was another thing I could do I could control fire. I walked out the door and went to the bus stop. Bel joined me and then the bus came. I sat next to bel. I could hear whispering behind us and I knew that this was going to be a long day.
