So, the reason I started to write this story was because my ex and I had started writing 2 Harry Potter stories that were going to match up and go together. One of our other friends was featured too, he just didn't write his own version from his POV. My story was never finished but was very detailed and longer when we broke up. His had more story with more vague details. I'm not sure if he continued writing it or not, but I personally continued writing mine. Unfortunately, I didn't add on much to the story, all I did was add another male who I was attracted to instead of the guy who had recently become my ex. The story kinda sucks but it was my first story that I wrote on my personal laptop, and, quite frankly, the only one.
Also, before I post the story, I want to just say me and that guy would always say we were Ron and Hermione. Honestly, before we started dating, we had never even talked to each other. It was more like Hermione and Krum, if Krum was less attractive and way less popular. Anyways, here's what was written of my Hogwarts story!
Knock, knock, knock I heard coming from my left side. I just knew it had to be my little sister, Ellie, beating on my window. "What is it Ellie!!! I'm trying to sleep!", I yelled at the top of my lungs. My mother burst into my room, scaring me half to death. "MADELINE GRACE JEFFERS, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!", screamed my mom. "Mom, Ellie was knocking on my window.", I responded in the most calm voice I could muster. But, my calmest voice must have sounded a little too sarcastic for my mother's liking. "You are going to go tell your sister, WHO WAS ASLEEP, that you are very sorry." "But mom," I tried to say. "No BUTS young lady! GO, JUST GO!" I could tell my mom had enough. I, reluctantly, got up, stretched, and headed to Ellie's room. As usual, when I knocked, Ellie asked, "Who is it?" It didn't matter if she knew someone was going to visit her room or if it really was a surprise to her, she would always ask. "It's me." I said. "Hello me, have we met before?" "Ellie let me in! It's Maddie!" I told her. She yelled back, "C'mon in, sis!" I opened the door to find her floor covered in toys. I had to try and jump, one foot to the other, to avoid stepping on one of her toys. After stepping onto more legos than I can count, I finally reach her bed. She's sitting there with this big ole smirk on her face, and I couldn't stand it. But, I knew mom would kill me if I wasn't nice to my devil of a sister. Okay, maybe she wasn't exactly a devil, but she's pretty darn close. I sat down on her bed beside her. "Sorry I blamed you for knocking on my window." I felt so crummy having to tell her sorry. "Really? Cross your heart?" "Yeah, sure." But all the sudden, I heard more knocking. Except it wasn't real, it was in my head. The more it played in my mind, the more it sounded like pecking. I got up and ran to my room, knocking over one of Ellie's jenga towers. "Sorry!" I yelled. I had to get to my room as soon as possible. What was that noise I had heard? I didn't just want to know. I needed to know. I leaped onto my bed and looked at my window. For some reason, my window was cracked open, and there was a piece of thick, yellow-tinted paper inside. It had a red wax stamp on it and an ink crest that read "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" It was addressed to Ms. M. Jeffers, me. I decided it was best to wait and open it when I had my mother at my side. I waited until my mom came into my room to tell her. Luckily for me, she came in to ask me if I had talked to Ellie yet after only 5 minutes. "Mom, I have something to show you. It's a letter I found in my window, but I have no idea why I got it or if it is a prank or-" I got cut off. "Hogwarts! Oh Maddie, I'm so proud! I can't believe you're a witch! Just like your great grandmother, Ruby." my mother gushed. My head was spinning. What's Hogwarts? Why is it so great? And did she just call me a witch? "So what is Hogwarts?" I ask. "A school, where only the best witches and wizards learn. You will learn how to cast spells, make potions, and you can even learn about the great Harry Potter." "Who?" I ask. My mom grabs my letter and rips it open. "Ok, so it says here that you need to go to Diagon Alley to buy your things. A wand, cauldron, books, robes, and you have a choice of bringing along a cat, toad, or owl." my mom read. "Now get dressed! We need to go get some wizard money and get your stuff. We need to get a head start so you can read up on the wizarding world. Come on!" my mom said. I had never seen her look so proud. I quickly threw on a pair of jeans and a tee shirt. I hopped into the car, and we were off.
