You were relatively new to the BAU. The most recent addition to the team, you'd had to work twice as hard to live up to expectations. It had been just under six months since your transfer into the unit and you had begun to feel at home, your colleagues having accepted you as a part of their family. The group dynamic was entirely respectable, normal banter was exchanged, Morgan and Garcia's flirtatious tendencies often entertaining the rest of the team. Overall you felt the transition from your desk job to field agent had been pretty seamless with little to complain about.

You were closest with Penelope, although you knew the things you confided in her often reached the taunting ears of Derek Morgan. You didn't mind, you didn't have much to hide and his teasing felt brotherly and affectionate.

You often went out with the girls, sometimes allowing Morgan to tag along as it was difficult to coax Hotch and Rossi out of the comfort of their homes for a night out. Someone you didn't know much about was Dr. Spencer Reid, the second youngest team member, after you. He was harder to read than the girls or Derek, often giving off the air that he was in his own little world. Sometimes you got the feeling that there was more to Spencer than the innocent nerd facade he displayed at work, after all it couldn't all be books and degrees. He was sweet though, and you loved him as much as anyone, you just figured he liked to keep to himself.

Today was a quiet day in the bullpen, the team had just closed a massive case in the Bronx and successfully put away a child sex offender. This case had taken a lot out of everyone, especially Derek, and today, the morning after the return to home base was mostly devoted to writing up individual reports and allowing JJ to sift through the piles of pending cases. You were planning a team dinner later this evening to put the events of this week behind you. Everyone had been too exhausted to celebrate when you had stepped off the jet in the early hours of this morning, however Hotch had given you all a late start, allowing for you to sleep in and recuperate before returning to the office.

"y/n, is your report almost finished?" It was Reid. You nodded. You let out a sigh, finishing your sentence and closing the file before handing it to him.

"Thanks." He smiled, taking it from you and tucking it under his arm with his own file, grabbing his empty coffee mug and heading over the lounge. You often compared notes at the close of cases like these. Plus, it saved you the trip from your desk to Hotch's office as Spencer usually dropped it off for you.

You sighed again, leaning back in your chair and checking the time. You still had half an hour before you were officially dismissed, so you fished your lunch out of your bag and took it down to Garcia's office. When you knocked on her door it swung open, Kevin staring down at you, his face flushed. You giggled, motioning at the smeared lipstick on his bottom lip. He wiped it off immediately with the back of his hand, examining it and cursing under his breath before rushing off. You rolled your eyes, smiling and pushing the door open again.

"y/n!" Squealed the analyst, spinning around in her chair and hobbling over in her shiny yellow pumps to envelop you in a hug. You laughed, hugging her back.

"Oh Penelope, you've got that man more flustered than Reid if he ever went into a BDSM club." You stated. She smirked, winking at you, mouthing I know. You ate and gossiped, discussing weekend plans.

"Speaking of BDSM clubs, humor me. Have you ever been to one, y/n?" You thought about your answer. Your were comfortable with Garcia, she was like a sister to you, but you weren't sure you wanted Morgan to have that type of information on you.

The truth was, you had ventured into the world of BDSM a few years back, in fact there was an entire community at the most exclusive club in DC that knew you as a regular. You'd made some of the best memories drinking and grinding on the sweaty bodies on dance floor and you still met up with friends you'd made there on a regular basis. You decided to answer in only partial honesty.
