It's my first time to write here in wattpad. Actually first time ko rin talaga magsulat ng story. I got inspired by all those authors in my reading list kaya Thank You. Ginawa ko siyang fan fiction 'coz if I would want somebody to portray the characters in my story, it would be them - Kim & Xian. Hope you like it...
Kanina pa siyang 4 o'clock hindi magkanda-ugaga sa pag-aayos sa sarili for the Wedding Dinner at 7 pm. Buti na lang at last kahapon ay nagdecide na siya sa dress na isusuot.
Flashback...
The moment Issa's mom called, telling her to attend her cousin's wedding with her Aunt Lety; just a week ago, araw-araw na lang siyang nag-iisip kung anong dress ang isusuot niya, how will she tie her hair, kung kumpleto ba ang make-up kit niya, or di kaya magpa-parlor na lang siya. Every day she would intentionally drop by the mall just across her office building to scout for a dress. "It has to be formal"; she made that a mental note. Pero sa araw-araw na nagstall to stall siya para tumingin ng formal dress eh wala siyang mapili. Buti na lang at nung naghalungkat siya on her very own closet eh nakita niya ang isang Fuschia Pink-fitted dress na sinuot niya during a separate wedding. She really liked that dress kasi simple lang ito at maraming nagsabi na bagay sa kanya.
Present...
Issa has been to formal parties already. Although hindi siya party girl pero hindi naman ito first time niya. Pero she couldn't understand kung bakit hindi siya ma satisfy. She just decided to do her own hair and make-up. It's already half past 6pm and her Aunt's gonna pick her up 15 mins before 7pm. Nagmamadali na siya, she just decided to put her hair down, put some foundation, eye shadow, light blush-on, and lipstick. The simplest look ever and that's what Issa really is. Ayaw rin niya kasing magstand-out sa party, she just wants to blend with the crowd. At exactly 6:45pm ay sinundo siya ng Aunt Lety niya at ngayon ay papunta na sila sa Wedding Dinner.
As they are getting nearer and nearer the venue; her heart is pounding faster and faster - kabadong-kabado talaga siya. She couldn't understand why it seems she's joining a 'make or break' competition tonight dahil sa kaba niya. It really feels na para bang may mangyayari. And NOT to her surprise, there she saw the reason kung bakit tila hindi matapos-tapos yung pag-aayos niya... Ian. Of course all this time she knew he would be there, kasi hindi lang ito HER cousin's wedding but also HIS sister's wedding.
Oo si Ian, yung kuya ng magiging cousin-in-law niya at nag-iisa lang naman na SECRET crush niya. Crush nga lang ba?... pero hindi rin kasi niya alam kung ano ba talaga yung nararamdaman niya for him.
Flashback...
They met during a church activity nung bago pa lang siya sa Manila. He was the head of the youth group where she also belongs. He was literally a 'head-turner'. Eh sino ba naman ang hindi ma aattract sa kanyang 6-footer height, maputi at chinito looks? The more they get to be together during church activities, the more she got to know him. At dahil ito nga ang head ng youth group nila, hindi maiiwasan na may mga positive at negative comments din ang mga tao dito. Medyo maangas din kasi ang dating nito sa mga tao. Pero kahit ano pang naririnig ni Issa eh hindi pa rin naaalis sa kanya ang LIHIM na paghanga kay Ian. Lalo na't nakikita niya rito ang care sa parents at kapatid; at pati na rin sa pagkatuwa nito sa mga pamangkin ni Issa. She can't help but imagine kung paano kaya ito maging isang Daddy.
Present...
"Hi..." naputol ang pagmuni-muni ni Issa ng biglang may narinig siyang isang pamilyar na boses. Hindi niya namalayan na nakarating na pala sila ng Auntie niya sa entrance door kung saan naghihintay ang both families ng bride at groom para batiin ang mga bisita. "Oh, hello..." sabi ni Issa kay Ian. "Uncle, Auntie congratz", bati niya sa future in-laws niya (in your dreams Issa...). "By the way, this is Auntie Lety, sister ni Mommy... Auntie, this is Uncle Fred, Auntie Dina, and Ian"; pakilala niya. Nagkaroon ng konting batian chaka sila nagpaalam para bumati naman sa groom's side na katatapos lang din makigpag-usap sa ibang bisita.
