Walk in the club

I got a phone call from my friend, Max. Of course he's already wasted and needs a ride home. But this time it sounded different. Like he was more acting than actual drunk. But I didn't take the chance and decided to pick him and his brother, Marcus, up as well. When I get to the club, known as stiles, I saw Max and Marcus instantly. Well it was easy because like me they are tall. So I walked through the crowd to them. I was about 12 feet from them when I bumped into someone and they dropped their beer. I turned around starting to apologize. I stopped to see a gorgeous young lady standing in front of me. She snapped be back into reality by saying, "it's fine. Don't sweat it." I offered to get her a beer and she accepted. We headed over to the bar and I ordered a beer for her. As the bartender was handing the beer to her she turned to me and we started talking. She asked why I was here and I told her two stupid idiots needed me to pick them up. She nodded. She told me she came here as week because her friend was drunk also. Then out of nowhere a hand was on my shoulder and spun me around and someone punch me. I fell hard and was dizzy. I got up and some guy screamed at me. He told me to back away from the woman. Oh. This guy was a total dick trying to grab her and pulling her away. I got up and grabbed his arm telling him to let go. He swung again. This time though Max came out of nowhere and grabbed the guys hand before it hit me. Now Max and Marcus are twins. We've been friends since junior high and these guys had my back as I have theirs. I was like a brother by extension. This guy let go of the girl and swung with his left and this time Marcus grabbed that hand. Simultaneously Max and Marcus fisted their free hands and knocked the guy down. The girl jumped behind me and clench onto my sleeve. Max turned around and said let go home. We all walked to my car and got in. I drive Marcus and Max back to the apartment. Then I drive the girl home. She thanked me and went inside. I got a feeling though. I would see her again. And I did.
