"He's right behind us!" Oliver yelled as him, Yael, and Cassiel ran as fast as they could (well, Oliver flew) to escape the freak that was chasing them with a bloody knife.
"WHY THE HELL IS HE CHASING US?!" Casiell yelled in fear as she ran faster to keep up with Yael.
"I DON'T KNOW BUT HE CERTAINLY ISN'T PLAYING A FRIENDLY GAME OF TAG WITH US!" Yael yelled back as he ran.
The freaky cloaked figure kept chasing them and soon they got to their apartment buildings.
"RUN UP THE STAIRS! GO! GO!" Oliver yelled as they started running up the stairs.
The freak still kept going after them and even made a disturbing noise that scared them more.
"GrrrnhGh," it screamed.
"COME ON, RUN TO MY APARTMENT!" Yael ordered loudly as they reached the second floor.
He reached for his keys, quickly opened the door, pushed Casiell inside, and rushed in, closing the door just before the freak reached them.
They heard loud banging noises on the door as the cloaked creep tried to get in.
"Who is he and what does he want from us!?" Casiell shrieked.
"I don't know who he is but I think he wants to kill us," Yael said matter of factly.
Oliver floated through the door and gasped.
"God, that guy is nuts!" He yelled as he looked at Yael.
"Um....who's that? And WHY IS HE FLOATING?" Casiell asked in disbelief and confusion.
"YOU CAN SEE ME?!"
"UM, Yeah?"
"Oops, I think I accidentally enabled my visibility while we were trying to escape that freaky murderer guy."
"What's he saying? and WHY is he FLOATING?" Casiell asked Yael in utter confusion.
"I'll explain later, okay? Right now we gotta figure out what to do about this creep that's tryna bust into my apartment," Yael replied trying to sound calm.
Casiell nodded, still shocked, and then got startled as a loud THUD came from outside the door.
"He's going to actually bust in at this point," Oliver said.
"We should call the police,"Casiell suggested, taking her phone out of her pocket.
"No, they can't help us," Oliver told her.
"Why?" Yael and Casiell asked in unison.
"Because he's NOT human! He's a Greater Spirit which means that he has the power to harm and show himself to humans," Oliver reasoned.
"A GREATER SPIRIT?! No wonder the aura around him felt so weird! And what is one doing at our apartment trying murder us?!?" Yael yelled in disbelief.
Casiell just stared at them blankly not understanding a word they were saying.
Suddenly, the banging stopped. All three of them pressed their ears against the door and tried listening to hear what was going on.
"I think he gave up and left," Oliver said in relief.
"Couldn't he just...pass through the door though?" Yael questioned.
"No, because once a Greater Spirit makes himself visible to humans it can't pass through walls or doors for at least 2 hours."
"That's kinda stupid...." Casiell said.
Oliver sighed and floated off onto the couch. "I think Cassy should stay here for now since the spirit knows our location," he suggested.
"Cassy?" Casiell asked, confused.
"So um, this is Oliver and he's a ghost and also my best friend," Yael explained to Casiell who had been kept in the dark for long enough.
"Hola, Cassy," Oliver said waving at her, upside down on the ceiling.
"uh, Hi...Oliver," she said still a bit shocked.
"This will be so much more fun, now that I can talk to you," Oliver beamed.
"Yeah yeah but first we need to figure out what just happened," Yael said, brushing his fingers through his hair.
"A freaky spirit in a cloak just tried to murder us?" Casiell said not knowing what her life was anymore. She had a weird flashback all of a sudden. She saw the glowing eyes of a cloaked figure as he stood upon her parent's dead bodies with a bloody knife in his hand.
Casiell gasped and held onto a chair, almost losing her balance.
"Hey, are you okay?" Yael asked, worried.
"I-I just remembered something unsettling..." she murmured in fear.
Oliver flew up to her and gently asked her, "What is it?"
"I've seen him before, the spirit guy, I think.....he.....he was the one who killed my parents."
"OH MY GOD."
Yael and Oliver stood there in shock as they made out what Casiell just said. Oliver already knew what she was talking about because he had been eavesdropping on Yael and Casiell's conversation earlier that day.
"But why is he after you now?!" Yael said, bewildered.
"I don't know, but he probably had some sort of grudge with my family," Casiell said quietly.
"But what does a Greater Spirit want from some humans??" Oliver wondered aloud.
If only they knew that I'm not human, Casiell thought to herself. She sighed and sat down on the couch, tired.
"If you're tired then you should go to sleep," Yael offered.
"Yeah, I'm really tired and drained," she said preparing to sleep on the couch.
"No need to sleep on that, you can sleep in my room."
"Oh."
They both blushed and Oliver snickered.
"I-I didn't mean it like that! I mean you can sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on he couch," Yael stammered, blushing.
"O-Okay," Casiell said as he showed her the way to his room.
She noticed how clean and organized it was. She layed on the bed, really tired from all that just happened. She felt a bit nervous, sleeping in a boy's house, but there was nothing else she could do since there was a psychopath running around trying to kill them.
"Just call me if you need anything," Yael said heading out of the room.
There was no reply so he turned around and found Casiell to be fast asleep on the bed.
He looked at her in awe. She looks so cute while sleeping, he thought to himself and then blushed, gosh what am I thinking. Oliver came in and whispered, "I know exactly what you're thinking and all I can say is you should get your head out of the gutter."
Yael blushed really hard and rushed out of the room embarrassed.

Yael and Oliver went into the living room and talked quietly.
"Now that I've gotten to talk to her closely, I sensed something strange," Oliver told Yael trying not to be too loud.
"Oh?"
"That weird energy isn't because of a spirit attached to her. It's because of something INSIDE her."
"What?!"
"Shhhh don't be so loud!" Oliver scolded Yael as quietly as possible, "There's something inside her."
"Well, what do you think it is???"
"I think it's either an entity possessing her or....a curse."
