Chapter 1

I stood on the cold bathroom floor, facing the mirror with a look of confusion. My hair was all over the place, and by the shouting that was coming from my room by Alexis, my friend, I didn't have much time to fix it. I quickly took the hair brush and started to untangle my hair. Once that was done, I managed to put the straighter through my hair a couple of times, to keep my hair in place. A little bit of hairspray and I was done before my friend called out, "LETS GO". I nodded to myself in the mirror, spinning to look at my outfit. Black skinny jeans and a band tee? I was good. 

I walked into my bedroom and sighed. Alexis stood, applying what looked like eye liner with a look of determination on her face. "Says the girl who isn't done" I shook my head. 

"How long were you in there?" She looked up from her small mirror, "Im only just re-applying, you know, incase" She shrugged. 

I chuckled quietly before grabbing my purse from my bed. I took Alexis' and threw it to her. "Careful!" She shrieked as her purse hit her head, "Scar! You know I get scared easily, and…makeup!" She glared, before standing up and grabbing her purse.

"What am I going to do with you?" I started, "Anyway, lets go before Luke gives us another lecture for being late." I told her.

"That kid has to put his two cents for everything!" She exclaimed, putting her hands up.

I shook my head, before responding, "Well maybe if we aren't late for every single place we go to-"

"Shut it!" She interrupted me, before shoving me to the door. I reluctantly let her lead the way, as I followed her down the stairs and to the door. 

I grabbed my moms car keys from the table that stood beside the door, seeing that she was home, and probably didn't need them today. I said a quick goodbye to my mom, informing her that I'd be late, and headed out the door.

''When are we meeting them?'' Alexis asked, as I drove out of my driveway. I looked at the rear view mirror, before responding to her. ''I told Jake we'd be there in like half an hour''I told her.

''WOMEN IN BLACK! DEFINITELY WOMEN IN BLACK!, Alexis shrieked. "DANIEL RADCLIFFE! AHH HE IS SO HOT!'' I cringed at the loudness of her voice, as I drove quietly, listening to another one of Alexis' fangirl moments. I had mentioned to Alexis that we were to watch a movie, and as usual, Alexis was sure to start her debate of what movie we were to watch.

''Alright alright, breathe, we'll watch it.'' I told her. I drove into the malls parking lot and parked in front of the main entrance. I took my keys out and grabbed my purse, while getting out of the car.

''Alright, Jake told me he and Luke would be waiting for us at Starbucks'' I told her, pulling her towards the mall. We walked into the entrance that happened to be right beside Starbucks. As we entered the mall, I saw the boys waiting at a near by table, their eyes searching around the mall. When they saw us, they got up and walked towards us, with their arms open for hugs.

''Finally! I thought you guys would bail,'' said Jake. We explained the reason for our lateness—an excuse made by Alexis that we had been stuck in traffic, a total lie—and walked back to Starbucks.

When they went to order their drinks, I shrugged, telling them I wasn't in the mood. I took my phone out and unlocked it, as I started a game of temple run.

When I had just passed the million mark, Alexis decided it would be the perfect time to interrupt me with an annoying, but very familiar shriek coming out of her small mouth. ''Umm.. Scar?'' She said, nudging me slightly.

''Yeah?'' I replied annoyingly,not taking my eyes off the game.

''There is this really cute guy that cant take his eyes off you..'' She said slowly.

''Huh?'' I asked confused.

"The guy in front on us, he cant stop looking at you..'' She explained, nudging my shoulder. I looked up to see a boy with gorgeous olive skin, and dark hair looking right at me. I looked at him with no interest and turned back to my game.

''You didn't even smile? Why? He is so gorgeous!'' Described Alexis.

''Yeah I guess so..'' I admitted, "But I dont really wanna focus on guys at the moment" I stopped the game. "What I wanna focus on, is when we're gonna watch this movie'' I told her. Alexis looked at me and giggled. ''Alright'' She said simply.

When another five minutes passed, and my impatience took the best of me, I looked up from my phone and spoke,"Im gonna go to the movie section real quick and check the times, alright?'' I said, getting up from my seat. I flattened my jeans and picked up my purse, slunging it over my shoulder.

Alexis put her coffee cup down and stared at me. ''Okay, but this guy is really cute'' She said with a wink. I shrugged my shoulders and said, ''he's all yours'' before turning my focus on Jake.

''Hey Jake, look over there—'' I told him, snapping his hat from him. He gave me a glare, before opening his mouth to speak.''You're gonna pay for that'' He threatened jokingly. I gave him a wink, as I turned on my heel and walked towards the movie theatre.
