Bumblebee

The beginning

The journey began on a beautiful Sunday morning as the Summer Creek Warriors must face the Oak Tree Stingers in an intense hockey match. The Warriors got to the tiny arena hill center and began warming up, they were running, doing the stairs and becoming exhausted. At the same time they couldn't seem to concentrate on their game as they normally would. The Warriors were so focused on the game that was going on in front of them. The older Summer Creek team was playing before them and we're having a crazy even match up. Bumblebee was especially in to it as she is a hockey fanatic and was probably having the hardest time warming up.
She was also concerned because she moved back to her off wing and her backhand isn't very strong. The team also changed lines but Bumblebee dosen't mind because she says "everybody is friends here, the only hockey players were not friends with are the ones you are facing at the time". She seems confident yet fearful, concerned yet sure of herself. Warm ups are done and they even did some of her favorite stretches.
As she gets back in the change room she calms down gets ready and is one of the first ones out as usual. Bumblebee is becoming focused, relaxing, visualizing what she can and will do. In her head all she can think of now is the sound of her coach saying "weave weave weave" which is a good thing because weaving has become a difficult task for the Warriors to complete.
