Whoop Roadtrip

Something cold went across my cheek. I scrunched my nose. It did it again. What the hell is this?

I opened my eyes to see Hunter licking my face!

"Hunter! What the hell!" I squealed in disgust. He laughed at my tantrum.

I started swinging my hand at him getting a couple of his on his arms. He grabbed my hands.

"Bad Miss. Scarlett." He taunted me mockingly. I stuck my tongue out at him. He smirked at me and let go.

"Meanie." I mumbled under my breath knowing he'd hear me.

"Heard that." He told me.

"You were meant to." I told him back.

"Get dressed, dummy. We gotta hit the road if we want to make it there on time." He informed me. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"I get to go meet upright blowhard alphas? Oh goddess! I am so grateful." I said with fake enthusiasm leaking.

"They're not all that bad. Take me for example." He told me.

"You're my mate. If you were rude to me. I'd kill you." I informed him grabbing a pair of jeans and a crop top.

"Good point. What about Mike?" He offered.

"Doesn't count. My uncle. Loves me unconditionally." I countered him.

"You make good points. Now give me a kiss." He gave up. I giggled and gave him a kiss.

The door swans open. "Let's go, bitches!" Athena came in screaming. Harmony came in after her with a suitcase as big as a house.

"You do realize we will be gone for 2 days, right?" I informed her.

"Your point?" She asked. I rolled my eyes and finished packing.

"Okay but seriously, let's hit the road." Athena exclaimed happily. She loves road trips. Except when they involve Blake.

"Whoop road trip!" Blake came in my room singing. Kaden and Xavier following behind. Hunter groaned.

"Okay. Everyone out. And get packed." I ordered. Everyone scurried out. Hunter goes to grab my waist. I slapped his hands. "You too." I ordered. He groaned but went to pack.

I put my bag in the hall beside the others. "Let's go, love." Hunter yelled from the bathroom. I grabbed his hand and walked out of our room.

All 6 of us piled into the car. Hunter was driving. I laid my head on the window. Blake crawled up from the back and turned up the music.

He started dancing to it like a moron. I shook my head and laughed at him.

"Dance babes!" Xavier fussed once he joined in with Blake. Before you know it we were all dancing.

We stopped once to get food. Then we made it to the waiting place.

"Alright everyone grab clothes and shift." He told everyone. I was about to shift when Kaden grabbed my elbow. I turned and looked at him.

"Clothes Scar. You can't go naked to the meeting, Luna." He told me. I laughed at him.

"Don't need them. I shift back with clothes on. All Protecters do." I informed him. He nodded in understanding and a little embarrassment.

We shifted and ran a good 5 minutes before getting there. "Alright everyone. Let's go to our spots. Xav, Blake, and Athena. Be safe. The rest of us will be at the table."

Hunter, Harmony, Kaden, and I walked over to the table with the rest of the Alphas, Lunas, Betas, and female Betas.

"Alpha Hunter. You're late." The top alpha said.

Yeah no shit. His name is Marcus. He is the king blowhard. He believes Lunas are below him.

I looked around looked for Hayden. I saw him eyeing me. I inhaled deeply. I quickly flipped him off. With my extra hearing I heard a growl.

Lance his beta. Aka asshole number 1.

"Got held up is all." Hunter answered calmly.

"Right well who's this?" He asked Hunter. Jerk. I can speak for myself.

"I'm Scarlett Grey. Elizabeth and Chad Grey's daughter. His mate." I informed him with a straight face. His eyes widened as did most of the other alphas.

My families death was a huge thing because they only attacked us. No others in the pack.

"Well Luna Scarlett it is nice to have you back." Another alpha told me. He is a nicer one. I protected his pack once.

"Back to the matter at hand. Rouge attacks are becoming more frequent on Alpha Mike and Alpha Hunter's territory. " I smiled at the mention of my uncle.

"Yes. More so with Alpha Hunter but we get frequent attacks as well." Uncle Mike told him. He nodded.'

"And your Protecters? They're good?" He asked.

Uncle Mike grinned. Harmony almost laughed. "Oh yes. The best." Hunter told them while holding my hand.

"That's good. Anyway how come Alpha Hunter is getting more attacks than Alpha Mike?" A sweet looking Luna weighed in.

"Some don't target the pack. They target my Luna. They fail in all attempts but they try." Hunter informed everyone.

"Why and what are attacking?" The old man asked.

"Wolves, witches, vampires. So far only one witch has attacked and she had a child on the line. So far they either attack me or our pack." I told him.

"Why are they attacking you?" He asked harshly.

I had to hold in my anger. "Either they want me dead or they want my power." I answered him with my anger.

"You are a little Luna wolf. What would they do with your power?" He said laughing to himself. Hunter growled while other Lunas looked offended. AOther alphas looked slightly pissed too.

"Old man, I could kill you in 3 seconds flat." I seethed at him. Hunter grabbed my hand but it only took away a little of my anger.

He growled. Must have hurt his ego. He threw a pen at me. I raised my hand and it stopped before it his my face. He looked startled. I turned it around and threw it back at him.

"What the hell." He said.

"Don't underestimate me." I told him flatly.

"You have a witch as a mate?" He asked rudely to Hunter.

"Nope." Hunter answered smugly. I smiled.

"She threw a pen at me midair. She damn sure is a witch." He spoke loudly. I can't deal with this disrespect.

"Old man, I am so much more than a witch. Let me clear this up for you. I am not afraid of you. But the rouges want to kill me because I can unite the witches, vampires, and wolves. Seeing as I am all 3." I answered hatefully.

Some gasped others smiled. "Impossible." He said. My eyes turned red.

"Is it? Anyways that's why they want to kill me as for the pack. It's lead my a strong leader and it's a strong pack. Moving on please." I told him. He glared but started talking about other things

Harmony squeezed my hand and silently laughed at our throw down.

Meeting day over! Finally! Now it's party time.
