(Rhode Island)Ethan's POV
The late night thunderstorm proceeded raging and spiraling into a turbulent surge along with my state of mind.
Viewing our dorm room, emptiness pervaded except the lightning occasionally sparked with roar, penetrating the suffocating silence amidst the thick musk of the drench. Through the curtains was just one shade of murky mist and droplets splattered all over the window. My body curled up on the bed under the glistening of fragmented moonlight.

This unsettling feeling started to devour me from the inside, and no one's there for me. Just like the old days.
And he wouldn't come back anymore.
Whimpers slipped out of my mouth and eventually erupted into bursting tears. The quivering got worse as I felt even colder.
Some point at a time, the automatic door slid open, but I was too drowned to notice, not before a stringy, clawed fluffy paw gently rested above my head. That feeling was ever too familiar not to recognize. I jumped up and turned around in a split second. The long-awaited canine figure appeared before me."Spot..."
