Past (1995)
The sun began to set; the skies were getting darker. The cousins were in the kitchen, along with Harry, Hermione, the Weasleys and the rest of the Order, waiting for dinner.
The kids were all looking drowsy and tired and looked as though if they were about to fall asleep on the table. Hugo was probably the most tired.
Lily was sitting beside him, reading another book she found in the Black Family Library. As she turned to her side, Hugo was already asleep.
"Molly!" Remus whispered, trying to hold his laughter, along with Tonks ans Sirius. "Look who's asleep."
"Chicken is ready!" Sirius laughed.
Hugo woke up with a start and started to fill his plate with drumsticks.
"I can't believe I was sleepy." Hugo yawned.
"Well, that's what you get for doing another Marauder prank war at the yard," Victoire scolded him.
"Dig in!" said Mr. Weasley, sitting with Mad-Eye and Sirius.
Dinner was really fun this evening. Everyone was engaging in conversations and telling jokes and spooky stories. A while later, Mrs. Weasley served dessert, with some help from Victoire and Lily. Tubs of ice cream with various flavors, strawberry shortcake and treacle tart were also served on the table.
It was so mouthwatering, you felt like you were at the welcoming feast back at Hogwarts. Harry was the first to finish, he was very full.
"What day is it tomorrow?" Albus asked sleepily.
"Er, August 12th." Teddy replied, checking the calendar on his phone; Harry raised his head.
"Oh, how could I forget!" he said, panicking.
"What did you forget, Dad?" Lily asked.
"The hearing! It's tomorrow!"
"I see it's getting late dearie," said Mrs. Weasley. "Go to bed now, you have a busy day tomorrow."
Harry hurriedly went upstairs, followed by Mr. Weasley. "I'll be off to bed too dear." said Mr. Weasley, giving Mrs. Weasley a kiss on the cheek; the kids seemed like they were going to throw up at this.
"Hearing?" said Lily.
"Well," Remus told her. "Harry's going to have a hearing at the Ministry tommorow."
"Why?" said Scorpius, as the cousins exchanged confused faces.
Remus continued. "Harry just used the Patronus Charm to save his cousin from Dementors. And then he got expelled, but we'll find out tomorrow whether he really is expelled or free."
"But that's insane, he was just trying to save Uncle Dudley." Albus piped up.
"Since when do you call that bloody git, uncle?" Ron protested; Hermione smacking him on the head.
"Language, Ron!" Hermione and Mrs. Weasley said in unison.
"Albus is right Dad," said Teddy. "It's needed in such situations like that."
"And worse, his cousin could've suffered the Dementor's kiss." Rox added.
Sirius gulped, as he remembered the time Harry saved his life from suffering the Dementor's kiss when he escaped from Azkaban.
"But don't worry, Dad will sucee—" said Lily.
"Shh!" Rose whispered to Lily while she covered her mouth. "Don't say it, or history would be different."
