*IZUKU POV*

The entire school was gathered in the school hall to welcome the new girl. I wondered what she would be like since she would be going to my class. Ideas flooded my head but none of them really gave the right idea. My thoughts were paused when principal Nezu told all of us to stand from our seats to honour the new girl's welcoming. From where I could see, Hatsume wasn't all that interested in the welcoming ceremony and wanted to go back to working on her babies, but as soon as Hatsume layed on the new girl, she instantly turned dark in fear.

"Good morning everyone! My name is Sakura Keigo. I'm so happy to be going to the most prestigious hero school in all of Japan. I hope I will get along with everyone!"

Sakura Keigo? That name sounded oddly familiar. To my surprise, Hatsume stood there, almost paralyzed at the sight of the new girl. I thought that it would be best to ask if she was okay.

"H-Hatsume, a-are you okay?" I received no response. Who could possibly make someone as cheerful and upbeat as Hatsume quiver in fear just by sight alone? The question raged my mind.

"Thank you, Sakura. Your introduction was splendid. I expected no less from the Hawks, the No. 2 hero's daughter and the same person who came in 2nd out of 500 contestants in the Inventors, Math and Science Contest held in Kyoto 3 years ago. We're happy to have you in our school."

"Thank you, principal Nezu, and I promise to uplift the schools name and come No. 1 in all academics in U.A. Failure for me is impossible."

You could hear whispers and murmurs praising Sakura for her achievements and bravely, but the boys were mostly focused on her looks.
A blonde fringe with a shoulder long ponytail. She was about Yaoyorozu's height and the thing that didn't appeal to me the most was Mineta drooling over Sakura's bust. In comparison they were almost as big as Hatsume's. 'Man, what am you thinking? That's just disgusting, Izuku!'

All of a sudden, Sakura vanishes off the stage and is I can't see her anywhere, until I see someone behind Hatsume.

"Ahhhh!" I screamed in fright, however Hatsume only shook just a little. Has she met this girl before?

"Ah, Mei Hatsume. Child prodigy, especially in inventing. I guess life really can't separate us, right Hatsume?" Hatsume just stood there, without even turning to look at tht person behind her. And what did Sakura mean by 'life really can't separate us'?

"Anyways, it looks like I'll be seeing you around more often. Ahahahaha!"

I felt the massive gulp Hatsume took. It was clear as day something was up between the two. I could tell that much that Hatsume wanted to take a step forward almost like she wanted to run away, but she was so scared for some reason. I decided to take the initiative and ask Sakura to back off.

"H-Hey, Sakura. May you please back off from Hatsume. I'm pretty sure you're-"

"Izuku, please. Don't."

I was instantly cut off by a dark-aura'd Hatsume. The tension was high. What was a few seconds felt like 10 years of agony.

"Oh, Hatsume. Let the boy speak. Or is he another one of your many man-thots that listen to every word you say like love sick puppies. Utterly disgusting! Once a hoe, always a hoe."

Who I thought to be a nice girl turned out to be an extremely rude girl who for once, I'd wish for Bakugou to kill. Although that was a bad mindset, I couldn't resist my emotions.

"No- he's just- someone who- n-needs help w-w-with his- c-costume a-a-and I'm the one to h-help. N-Nothing m-m-more."

'...n-nothing more?' Is that really all I am to you Hatsume?

"QUIT YOUR LYING! I'LL MAKE YOU PAY FOR ALL THE HUMILIATION YOU PUT ME THROUGH FOR 2 LONG YEARS BACK IN MIDDLE SCHOOL!"

I decided to grab Hatsume by her hand and walk out of the hall. I made sure not to let go. I heard something faint coming from Hatsume's mouth.

"T-Thank- y-you, Mi- dor- iya."

"There's no need to than-"

Before I could respond Hatsume fell unconscious in my arms. What the hell happened just now? I ran to Recovery Girl's office. She ran a few tests on Hatsume while I sat outside to wait. As soon as she was finished, which only took 5 minutes, she called me in and told me it was just a normal unconscious state that would recover in less than 2 hours. I thanked Recovery Girl for her help and left Hatsume in the room.

"He's gone. You can wake up now."

"Thank you Recovery Girl, and I'm sorry I had to make you lie like that. It's just-"

"Nonsense. I'd help a child any day, but I can't really point out why you would even have to lie to someone like Midoriya. But, in the end, it's none of my business anyway. You can stay if you like and leave in well, 2 hours."

"Thank you for your hospitality. I really needed this."

*HATSUME POV*

Lying to Izuku was one of the most difficult decisions I've had to make in a long time, but I had to. What I thought would remain in the past rocked right up to my school. What gave me more guilt was that he was so kind as to know that I wanted to escape from Sakura's grasp and carrying me to Recovery Girl. Ahh, it's all too much.

I felt myself blushing at the thought of Izuku's kindness. 'No Mei, you can't.' I kept telling myself that, but I don't know how much longer that would last.

*3RD PERSON POV*

It was after school. Midoriya went to go check up on Hatsume at the nurses office. He opened the door.

"Oh hey, Hatsume. I'm so glad you're okay. I was so worried about you."

Hatsume couldn't help but blush.
"Y-you were? T-T-That's s-weet of you Izuku but I'm fine now."

"...Hatsume?"

"Yes?"

"Did you just, stutter?"

"N-n-no, I-I don't k-know w-w-what you're talking about, I-I-Izuku. Nonsense." Hatsume was glowing red.

"Is that right?" Izuku chuckled a bit.

"Yes, that is right! Now it you'll excuse me, I need to go work on my babies. I'll see you later Izuku." Hatsume stormed out of the nurses office leave Midoriya confused.

'What the hell Mei! It's just Izuku, stop acting nervous. You've got another problem at hand here. Sakura is back.'

While Hatsume was storming through the hallway, Uraraka noticed how her face was red. Obviously Uraraka noticed it was a blush, but wondered what the source of the blush was. She noticed Hatsume had exited the nurses office and to her shock, Midoriya, the boy she had a crush on for so long, had just come out of the same room Hatsume was. Could he have been the source of her rush? Anger and jealousy filled Uraraka's mind, but she decided she couldn't act without solid proof, but this was just the beginning of her curiosity.

*URARAKA POV*

'There's just no way Deku-kun could be-. No there's just no way. He's mine. Hatsume isn't who he should be looking for right now! He should be into me!! I'm the girl of his dreams and make sure that rotten cotton candy stays no where near my Deku-kun!'

What was Uraraka planning? And what was up with Hatsume and the new girl?
