Chapter 14; Everything I Didnt Say

Ashton's POV

• January 10, 2015 •

I looked into the mirror and adjusted the tie I was wearing. I ran my fingers through my long curly hair, only making it worse.

"If you do that anymore, your hair's only gonna get worse," I heard Luke laugh from behind, me joining in.

"Do you think she likes the tux I'm wearing?" I asked, running my fingers through my hair again.

"She'll love it," He reassured me.

"Everyone's waiting," Ashley's mom said. We both nodded our heads as I sighed.

"Good luck mate." Luke said, putting his hand on my shoulder. I mumbled a 'thanks' in reply. He was gone and I was ready to go inside the chapel.

I went inside and saw Ashley at the other side of the aisle, looking as beautiful as ever. I was ready to give the speech, but I was nervous of how Ashely would think of me.

"Ashley Miller. Where do I start?" I said, making everyone in the chapel laugh.

"Well, Ashley is a very gorgeous person. I mean, look at her," I pointed at the small picture of her next to her coffin.

"She's always been afraid to go on adventures with me - and I think that's absolutely cute - but to loose her like this, is just- I can't handle it.

"Ashley was the whole of my heart, I don't know what I'll to without her. So I decided to play the song I wrote for her at Christmas, hope you all like it," I finished, tears rolling down my face.

"I hope you hear this, Ashley. I still love you, by the way," I whispered, looking up the ceiling. Calum handed the guitar and I started to play the first 3 chords.

This is everything I didn't say," I paused, getting ready for the 2nd verse since everyone's taking videos.

woah oh ohh ohh," I finished, strumming the last chord. Everyone started clapping and I started to smile. I knew she was listening, I knew she was proud of me.

• The Next Day •

I woke up next to a girl; I guess I wanted to get over Ashley. It was weird though, she was wearing a costume. I just went back to sleeping.

"Ash wake up," The girl beside me groaned. Her voice reminded me of Ashley.

"Um morning." I replied, not remembering her name.

"This dress is so uncomfortable," She whined, pushing up the blanket that was covering her face. This feels weird. I feel like this happened before.

"Hah. What's you're name?" I asked.

"Seriously Ash? Okay maybe this rings a bell," She said, crashing her lips onto mine; not giving me the chance to reply. I felt sparks in the kiss. I only feel that with Ashley. She broke the kiss, making me realize who she really was.

"Ashley?" I asked, not believing everything that's happening.

"Wow! He knows who I am! Someone give him a cookie," Ashley said sarcastically. I looked around where we were, and we were in my room. And I was wearing a Robin Hood costume. I opened my phone and checked the date.

November 1, 2014

What the hell? I thought it's already 2015. I thought about it for a minute, and maybe God is giving me a second chance? Well today is the day Luke tells her he loves her, so I need to stop that from happening.

"Hey um Ashley can I borrow your phone?" I asked weirdly as she nodded. Ashley handed me her phone and I could already see the text from Luke.

Sorry Luke, me and Ashton are hanging out today. Maybe some other time? :)

I gave Ashley her phone back as she read the text I sent. "What the hell Ash? We weren't gonna hang out today!" She screamed, only making me smile.

"Now who said that?" I asked, smirking.

"I was supposed to give you this whole cheesy surprise but then Luke ruined it. Unless you still wanna go," I added, pouting at her. She laughed at me an said,

"Well now that you cancelled my plans, sure. I'd love to go to your cheesy surprise," Ashley giggled.

"Perfect. I'm gonna drive you to your house, then I'll pick you up at 3. Be ready" I winked at her.

"Noob,"
