Prologue 2 [OLD]

"There.. now it's sixteen. What took so long?" A very large man asked. He wasn't fat... just.. very large.

"Yeah, don't make us wait you inferior mistakes!" A girl shouted. 'Tell me something I don't know...'

"Right... sorry Taniri. Actually, we were looking for there rest of you guys but we couldn't find you." Asta apologized.

"Besides, the mistake is you Azusa!" Aku shot back looking at his hand in disgust.

"Oh, shut it bat!"

"That's the best you got, you disgusting snake- wait no... calling you a snake would be an insult to the snakes themselves, huh? Oh well!"

"Wow, that's the best insult I've ever heard!" Rikama said, impressed.

"That was a full on stab! Aku, you scare me..." Yuni whimpered.

I looked at Azusa. She was shaking in her boots...literally. She was wearing a black dress and had black knee boots. 'Guess she likes the color black...'

"Okay enough."

We all looked back at Taniri. He then pointed at me while I jumped back... again.

"You there.. introduce yourself!" he yelled. 'Why are you yelling at me? Stop that!'

"Uh... r-right. I'm Nachio Chinaki the Ultimate Sloth...that's all. Please stop staring at me..." I tugged on my hood, covering my eyes. 'If I can't see them.. they can't see me!' Well, that's what I've grown up to believe and it's always worked.... just not now.

"Okay then, Nachio. I am Taniri Yunomi the Ultimate Bodyguard!" He said proudly...still yelling.

"Ugh, now we have to introduce ourselves to a lazy low-life like you! Anyway, I'm Azuse Suzuwa the Ultimate Doll-maker!"

'Haven't heard that insult in a while.. maybe I'm getting a little *too* comfortable.'

"Right, My name is Ridaa Fujisa. To be honest, I'm sure I don't have a talent but somehow I'm the Ultimate Hacker." She seemed sad before my introduction.. wonder why that is..

"Yeah yeah, the name's Rio Shirabi! They call me the Ultimate Runner!" He's excited..and loud.

I looked to the other half of the room. They still haven't introduced themselves.

"What... oh yeah! R. U. R. I. K. I. What's that spell? Ruriki Kazadoka the Ultimate Cheerleader!"

'Why must everyone be so loud?'

"Guess it's my turn. I'm Imi Jusome. I'm really good at making tea." He was the only one... wow.

"Well, for one thing I am Samuela Yumisa. Do not underestimate the power of a Queen!"

'I'll just take a guess and say she's the Ultimate Queen. She sure is intimating... Twelve down, four left!'

"With that let me introduce myself. Kane Hirosuma's the name and making food is my game! Get it, cuz.. I'm the Ultimate Cook?"

'Funny.. he's joke is funnier than my life...okay that's depressing..'

"Welp, I'm Nawari Joseki. I don't have an ultimate... sorry to disappoint ya'!"

'Huh... so then how did she... oh wait. She's like me isn't she..'

"Stupid idiots! I'm Rei Hagamoto! Remember it well because I'm the the Ultimate Planter!"

'... hold up.. what time were clocks invented?'

"Guess I'm the last one.. Kiyama Ji. The Ultimate Painter."

'That's all of them.. though I may have dozed off in the middle of them.. whoops.'

"Okay! So... what now?" Yuni, the Ultimate Roller-skater asked.

"Yeah, were we supposed to meet someone here or what?" Rio added.

"Are you done? Finally!"

"Hold on, that's the same voice from the announcement!" Kane gasped. I would've fallen asleep...if it weren't for a two toned bear to appear.. wait no it's not a bear.. it's a cat?

"Alright! Now it's *my* turn. My name is Mononeko, your Headmaster of this killing game! Now before you say anything, there is *no* way to escape. Unless you wish to kill your way out that is.."

...

"I'll give you all Neko-pads which include the rules, a map, ect. Now then I'll say it once more, this is a killing game. Which means..." he paused waiting for someone to finish the sentence.

"One of us will kill someone." Taniri finshed, crossing his arms.

Now the air had gotten thicker...

"Ding ding ding! You're correct! I think that's all I have to say. Oh, but you don't *have*to."

"....I'll just take a guess and say that you'll find a way to force us to kill is we refuse, right?" I guessed. I saw from the corner of my eye, that Asta was glancing at me nervously. But why?

"Yup! So in the end there won't be a point anymore! Besides, this game will only end with two people anyway! Upupupupupupupu, bye bye!" Leaving that information stuck in our heads, he left.

Despair... The room was full of it. So much that I could taste it... and it tastes like rotten food.

'Come on guys.. don't lose hope just yet! It's only just begun...'

"Okayyyy, while you nerds wallow in despair or whatever... I'm going to my room and taking a nap. Good night!" Aku then left.

"Yeah, it's not good for you guys to be in despair just yet... we'll get out of here! But, I'm going to take a nap too..." Soon after I left but not before looking at Asta's despair ridden face.

'Don't worry Asta...'

As I enter my room which was to the right of Rio's, I sat on the bed. I started to think..

'The mastermind... they must be smart... but are they smarter than me? Probably..' I lay back on my bed. 'Now that I think about it.... if everyone is now considered a threat then.... I'm a target too...'

I then got ready to go to sleep. But when I reached for my closet door, it wouldn't budge. 'Just my luck...'

"Upupupupupup! Seems you're having trouble, Nachio."

Mononeko suddenly appeared behind me. He then started waving his paws at me.

"Hey..so he thing is.. your closet is the only one that's kinda stuck... but there is a trick to opening it! I'll leave figuring that out to you. Upupupu!" Aaand he's gone.

'So there's a trick, huh? Okay cool... like my own little password..'

I lifted the door up and tired to open the door..... and 'It worked!'

'That's great but why did I need to open this again? Ugh, never mind...'

As I entered my bed, before I fell into a deep sleep I thought this...

'This won't be so boring after all!'

and with that....I fell asleep...
