"Engineer! Kain na!"

We are now in the place where my bestfriend and her husband are going to build their house. I was the Engineer they hired. This is the first day of construction and I already saw the blueprint of the house and it's so breathtakingly beautiful, it's a modern styled house.

The Architect they hired must be very talented.

My bestfriend Pia called me para kumain na. Tumango ako sa kanya at lumapit na para kumain dahil lampas ala ona na rin at gutom na ako, nag-request pa kasi ako na ang gusto kong kainin ay steak mula sa paborito kong restaurant kaya bumili pa siya kaya natagalan. Nauna na kasing kumain ang mga construction workers. Tinanggal ko ang hard hat na nasa ulo ko at nilagay sa gilid ng lamesa.

"Hay salamat, gutom na kasi ako." aniko at umupo na para simulan nang kumain.

"Ang arte mo kasi, nag-request ka pa, meron namang pagkain na binili ni Liam galing sa McDo." Pia said.

Nag-angat ako ng tingin sa kanya. "I'm craving for this, eh. By the way, thank you kasi bumili ka talaga." I smiled sweetly at her.

Umirap lang siya kaya tinawanan ko na lang. I started eating and keep humming because it really tastes good and I will never get tired to taste this for the rest of my life.

After I ate ay nag-cellphone lang ako sandali at nagpatuloy na sa trabaho. Lumipas ang dalawang oras ay nagsihinto muna kami at nag-meryenda muna.

I've been an Engineer for five years now, and those five years were not easy for me before I became succesful. Yes, I work in my father's own company but I just want to be a natural employee, just like those who work in the company, I don't want even if I'm the owner's daughter, I can get promoted easily, I don't want that because it's unfair to others.

I started at the bottom. I'm an ordinary employee, Engineer, just like others and I don't want to be pulled up immediately just because my father was the owner of the company.

Marami rin akong beses napagalitan ng Chief Engineer at okay lang yun sa akin dahil nagsisimula palang naman ako. I tried my best to improve my skills. And I really improved.

And now, I'm the Chief Engineer of the company. The previous Chief Engineer who has been very tough to all of us Engineers, the moment he retired he talked to Dad that I can be the one who can replace him because he said that I'm the best Engineer in the company and that made Dad and Mom even more proud of me, until now.

Lumapit naman ako kay Pia at nakipag-kwentuhan na lang. Pia is my bestfriend since nursery, naging magkaibigan kami dahil noong tumatakbo ako ay nadapa ako at nakita niya ako at tinulungan at doon nagsimula ang pagiging magkaibigan namin. Pia is really a good friend not just to me, but to all her friends. But we're bestfriends. She's one call away bestfriend. Kilalang kilala na niya ako gano'n rin naman ako sa kanya, alam namin kung kailan hindi masaya ang isa't isa kahit sabihin pa naming okay lang kami.
