Meanwhile, beneath the surface of the earth, a hollow cave is now filled with nothing but wooden torches stuck to the wall and a stone-like throne at the center with someone sitting on it.
The person sitting on the throne appears to be covered by a pitch-black robe with a hood covering the head to the point that there was no face to be seen. He was tapping his fingers on the armrest as if he was waiting for someone or something to happen and his other hand resting on his head.
Suddenly, the torches flickered for a bit as black smoke floated around the cave and stopped a few inches before the throne. It began to take shape into a black armored man down on one knee and bowing in front of the person on the throne.
"My liege." the armored man spoke,
"This better be good news." The person on the throne said as he kept tapping his fingers on the armrest.
"I-I'm afraid not, my liege." the armored man replied nervously, "The winged beast was, uh, obliterated,"
Hearing this made the man on the throne mad and slammed his right fist on the armrest but the impact was so strong, it left a crack on that spot. SMASH!!
"WHAT!?" he exclaimed, "How!?"
"A girl in red armor defeated the beast, sir." the armored man replied,
"First that bone-head of a lizard and now Skydra? They both had one job and they screwed up!" the man on the throne shouted, "And now there's another one of them out there?!"
"I guess you could put it that way," the armored man murmured silently,
"What was that you said?" the man on the throne asked,
"Ah, nothing, sir." the armored man replied, "But what do you want to do about it?"
The man on the throne sat in silence, "I'll let you know about it as soon as I'm done thinking." he then said, "You are dismissed."
"Are you sure, my lord?"
"Are you questioning your loyalty!?"
"No. No. My apologies, sir. I should go now." The armored man stood up, bowed in front of the man on the throne, and disappeared into the abyss.
The man on the throne exhaled deeply as he massaged the right side of his head. Suddenly, he felt something around him and immediately stood up. "Who goes there?" he bellowed,
"Don't talk back at me, fool!" a voice replied,
Quick on his feet, the man stood up from his throne, bent down to his knee and bowed his head. "Forgive me for my rudeness, master," he said, "I didn't mean to raise my voice at you."
"Well, you better be!" the voice said, "And I've seen everything."
The man stood up, "I did the best I could--"
"And yet you failed for the second time." the voice pointed out, "You're nothing but a disappointment."
"I-"
"I went out of my way to revive you back then just so you could help me return to my original form. Not so you could do what you please and screw things up!" the voice continued,
"I can assure you that it will never happen again." The man said,
"And my body?" the voice asked,
"I need more time, master."
"YOU HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD!!" the voice shouted, "What else do you need anyway?!"
"A source of power." the man replied,
"And how in the world are you gonna do that?"
"All will be according to plan,"
"What plan? You're just thinking on the spot."
"Patience, master. All will be revealed in due time."
"Tch! This plan of yours be better worth it or else you'll be turned back into being dust!" The voice warned,
"Do not worry, master." the man smiled grimly as he sat on the throne, "Just wait and see for what I have in store for them."
