chapter five

[Cali's POV ]

"It was nice meeting you Louis." I say to Louis while all four of us walk towards the door.

"You too and we should all really go on a double date sometime." He says winking at Harry. Maybe you could call this a date between Harry and I.

"Yeah! We should. Maybe you guys should stay a little longer and we can plan it." Eleanor suggest implying that she wants them to stay longer.

"I'd love to but right now I need to go to bed. Sleep is calling me. I'll text you guys and wait, I don't have your number." Louis says looking over at me.

"Or yours Harry." I look at Harry who is staring at me but then looks up at Louis when he hears his name being said. Oh, how cute he was when he gets caught staring at me.

"Oh yeah, yeah!" He says taking out his phone but looking back at me in the process. It's ten o'clock right now and the boys are just now leaving from what you could call a "date". The past few hours have just been us talking and laughing about random things like sports, movies, and what not. I look back at Louis who is giving Harry back his phone and taking out his phone to give to me. I grab his phone and type in my number and saving myself as a contact.

"Ok, I'll see you guys! Nice meeting you Cali and it was nice seeing you again Harry." Louis says taking back his phone and waving goodbye as he walks out the door.

"It's about time I go too ladies." Harry says finally snapping out of his own world. Eleanor nods and looks over at me expecting me to say goodbye but I just stare back at Harry.

"Actually, Harry could I talk to you for a minute before you leave?" I ask and Harry nods. I pull him over to talk to him privately while Eleanor walks back into the dining room to clean up.

"What is it, babe?" Harry asks and I smile from the nickname he just gave me. I try to think about how to word this. I can't just say, you know how I said this wasn't a date and we were just friends well now I kind of want this to be a date and us to kind of be going out. Eh, I'll just wing it.

"Well, after tonight I realized that I actually might like you and I want to.... um... maybe start going out?" I asked. I can feel my face heat up and I looked down at the ground hoping he doesn't notice how nervous I am around him. I look up only to see him grinning like a maniac. I can't help but blush. Why do I always have to do that?

"So, now you are officially asking me out?" He asked smirking. I smiled and playfully punched his shoulder. He tried acting like he was hurt and I just laughed.

"But, really Harry I like you and uh you didn't answer my question." I said looking back down at the floor and rock my feet back and forth.

"Wait, what did you say before?" Is he he serious. He knows I am nervous.

"Harry! For heaven's sake will you go out with me?" I noticed this is normally what a guy would be saying to a girl but whatever. I'm rebellious!

"Even though I should be the one asking that, I will accept the offer." Harry exlaims. It's like he can read my mind.

"And actually I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date. Like a formal date not like tonight which supposedly wasn't a date." He rants. I am so relieved. Honeslty, I thought he would reject me but he said yes!

"Of course we can go on a formal date. Tonight wasn't even a date Harry." I say. He rolls his eyes but smiles.

"Then, tomorrow I will be picking you up around seven. And wear something casual."

"Where will we be going for this date?" I ask.

"I can't tell you. It's a surprise!" He yells. We walk to the door and Eleanor walks out from who knows where and meets us.

"Harry, thank you for coming and I am so happy I got to meet you." Eleanor says while Harry puts on his jacket. Harry pulls her in for a hug and she laughs.

"It was fun tonight girls! Hopefully I will see you soon." He smiles. Eleanor walks off smiling. Harry looks over at me.

"Thank you for tonight it was really fun!" I said going in for a hug. He opens his arms and hugs me tight. I start to pull away but he squeezes tighter. After a few moments he finally lets go.

"Yes, it was. A lot happened. Tonight I've made a new friend, reunited with an old friend and even maybe made a special friend." He wiggles his eyebrows and I blush. He walks outside the door but turns around.

"Bye Harry." I say waving flirtatiously and start closing the door. He stops it before it closes and pushes it open enough to poke his head out.

"P.S I like you too." He says and shuts the door. I smile remembering that I said I like him and he never actually said it back. I notice Eleanor leaning against the door frame of the living room.

"What was he talking about?" She smirks and walks up to me.

"Tell you in the morning? I actually am really tired and need to go to bed." I say walking away from her towards my bedroom.

"Okay but be ready to tell me everything. And about your feels on Louis too." She walks into her bedroom. I stiffen at the words she used. My feels on Louis. I am having feelings alright.

omg dudes i am so sorry. literally it's been like three months. soo sorry this chapter is short. i have more in a notebook and i planned for it in this chapter but i need to post for you guys.

well sorry for being gone. i am also working on a new fanfic but it won't be posted until i am halfway through and yeah complicated stuff.
