BNA Shirou x Male OC

Chapter 7

After a fun night at Nina's i woke up relaxed and not too tired on my bed it was a rather peaceful night no surreal nightmares or anything in fact I saw The silver wolf in my nice dream although it was a blur it made me feel safe.

"Today's another day." I sighed happily as I got up from my bed .
I got out of my room.and headed downstairs for breakfast noticing Melissa Gem Shirou and Michiru already on the table and gave them a smile as I sat next to them.

"Well well well, someone's in a good mood today"Michiru teased. "Yup I feel great and ready to kick into action".
"Peaceful night I see"Shirou said with a smirk after a sip of his coffee.
"Yeah I had a dream and this time it didn't completely suck"
"Oh really what did you see"
"The one and only Silver FRICKING Wolf!" I announced happily.
A second after that Shirou chokes on his Coffee
Michiru then laughs at Him and turns back, "Really? That's awesome"
"It is a blessing indeed" Gem adds
"It usually means you're path will be bright"Melissa also added

After breakfast and on our way out Melissa handed us some charms and informed us about the legend of the silver wolf Although it wasn't News for michiru and Shirou It was for me.

I was invited out on patrol with them to help me know more about the place and how they do their job.

"Sooo you guys beat up bad guys for a living?"
"Pretty much" Michiru answers
"We spot bad guys in their act and we beat them up and hand them to the police,simple" she explains.
"It's my duty to protect all beast men no matter what situation they are in" Shirou says out of no where
"So do you like get guns and gadgets from the mayor but then again Shirou doesn't look like he needs them"
"No need for them since I can shape shift (cheetah legs,wings and what not),speaking of which how are your powers doing"
"My shape shifting is still a work in progress but I'm sure with the mayors help I will be able to control it"
"So do these charms summon the silver wolf or is it an offering you give"

"If you ever run into him and he saves you from a sticky situation you can hand it to him as a form of a thank you".
"You don't have to give him food he would still help you out regardless,feel free to eat them" he says bluntly as he pulls the charm out of his pocket and starts eating it
"I think I'll still hold on to them,but then my  pockets will reek beef and I'll get swarmed by dog beast men " I joked
Michiru laughed and Shirou gave a slight smile.

After a few hours of patrol and helping out citizens , we stopped for some drinks and chilled,it was only then that we heard an explosion  we then rushed to where it came from...

A building was on fire ,some beast men who lived there were evacuated out.
Shirou switched to his beast form,stood there sniffing.
He had Located 2 people stuck on different floors.
"I'll go in to get the person on the highest floor,Michiru get the one on the first floor"
"on it" she rushed.
"What about me what should I do?"I asked Shirou.
"Stay here and stay out of trouble"
"WHAT?!" And before I could protest he followed Inside

It was taking them what felt like hours as I was panicking I hear a boy yell from a window.

(There's another one?!!, Shirou nor Michiru know,I need to go in there,but I can't,I don't have what it takes...)
"Somebody pls help my son" I hear a woman crying and begging for help.for a moment it reminded me of my own mother..

Help            somebody            please           

Those words kept echoing in my head

(I can't  just stand here!!!!)
As the thought came in to my mind my body  rushed inside the building and I took the stairs I knew I couldn't make any smart choices I had to get there quick before the kid suffocated to death,I climbed the stairs as fast as I could dodging burning debris falling from the ceiling it was hot as hell.

"Hel-*cough cough* my ears caught a voice

I followed the voice that led to a door I tried the door knob but it was smelting hot I then gave the door a few Shoulder bumps although it hurt I successfully broke through it.

The kid was holding onto the window

"It's okay you're gonna be okay"i comforted him as I then held the kid and wrapped him around my chest with my jacket the only way out was either the way downstairs or the window.
I glanced at the window for a second..(Fuck that I'm using the stairs) as soon as I was going to go through the door a huge pile of debris fell blocking the entrance.
I looked at the window desperately and crawled out of It.
"This is-fucking craaaazy" stressing out as I shimmy'd my way on the edge
(Just don't look down) in my mind as I then looked down.
"Shit shit shit-
Another explosion came out of the window made me lose my footing .
I grabbed on to a ledge surprised as I never had this good of an upper body strength I then noticed both my arms in their beast form but before I could think the ledge I was holding on too broke and we started falling I held onto the kid tightly.

Suddenly I felt an arm wrap around me.I opened my eyes to see shirou grabbing on to me and the boy so tightly, his face and muzzle covered in ashes
He gently placed me and the boy inside the ambulance and the fire fighters gave us rebreathers.
After the fire was controlled and I regained most of my consciousness i noticed the kid still hanging on to me.
the mother then came in to check on the kid and hugged him. Looked at me and thanked  me
I gave her a nod and a smile with what power I still had and watched them leave.

I looked back to see Shirou approaching in his wolf form with clenched fists and an angry face.
"What were you thinking!!",
"I-"
"You could have died inside there!!"

"I couldn't help it..I-i had to do something, I couldn't just stand there and wait! I wasn't able to help my parents... but If it meant being Able to help him and..his mother..then I didn't care what happened to me in the end !!"

"I do!,I CARE for what happens,I could never live with the thought of you being dead!!,do you understand that?!"
"Shirou...I-i dont know what to sa-".before I could finish he hugged me tightly and I felt one of his tears come down my neck I then hugged back.the hug lasted a long while as I cried in his shoulders.
"Promise me,Promise me  you'll never do it  again,never risk you're life for me or anyone else again..."
(It was a selfish thing to promise him but I know he only said that because of how worried he was and I knew he wouldn't take no for an answer)"I promise..."

"Hey puppy?" I teased getting his attention
"Hm?"
"Want some Jerkey?"I handed him a silver wolf charm Melissa gave us.

"tch Don't call me that" he then grabbed it with a blush on his face And took a bite of it and offered a bite back.
I then gently bit down on it.

"Hey guys!!!" Michiru came running at us
"Mihiro you feeling okay?" She asked concerned
"Yeah I just needed some fresh air nothing much what about you ?"
"We are fine,that was really brave of you"
"Yeah I still can't believe I did that"
"It was stupid and reckless" Shirou said his arms crossed.

"How did Shirou's perfect sense of smell not detect that boy?"
"That floor the kid was on was the most effected probably it's source too so that must be the reason" I deducted.
"You sure you don't need to go to the hospital?" Shirou asked with a bit of worry.

I put my hand on his shoulder reassuring him "I'm fine seriously you don't have to worry about me this much I can take care of myself" I said with a smile

"Whatever..." he shrugged

"Now that we got that mushy(emotional) shit ouf of the way how about we go eat some ice cream,my treat!" I suggested.

"Sounds great" Michiru agreed.
and Shirou just followed.
