"It's the people we love the most who make us feel the gladdest... and the maddest! Love and anger are such a puzzle!"- Fred Rogers.

"Rise and Shine Simone, the sun is up and the morning is here to start another beautiful day."

Simone steered a little under the sheets on hearing the sound of her GUI robot fill the room, her lids fluttering as her eyes opened slightly to the view of sunlight streaming through the floor to ceiling glass, the drapes automatically pulling open.

"Morning Genevieve." Simone greeted back, lips quirking up in a smile as she relished in the view before her. Waking up to the sun's glow shining down on her always gave the feeling of joy she couldn't explain. It was probably the way it's warmth filled her in such ways that gave her hope.

Hope for better things to come.

"I believe you slept well." Genevieve inquired as Simone suddenly felt the urge to move to the balcony and stare at the morning view.

"Yeah it was-" She paused on realizing her body was stark naked while pulling over the sheets. She immediately pulled the sheets back over her body, the memory of her love making with her fiance flooding back into her mind.

George.

Simone smiled, turning over to look beside herself on the bed but to her dismay the space was empty. She frowned.

"Where's George?" She asked.

"George left a message for you Simone, but if you want, I could search for his current location." Genevieve suggested.

"Let me hear it."

"Please hold on while I configure your message." Genevieve responded as Simone fumbled with the hem of the duvet while waiting.

The vocoder sound came up.

"Morning babe. Sorry, i got a call from the company on an urgent situation so I have to leave." He sighed "This was not how I planned our morning to be but I promise I'll make it up to you. Laters babe, I love you."

"Voice recording ended." Genevieve alerted once the vocoder sound went down.

"I love you too." Simone sighed in a quiet whisper as she hugged the duvet closer, already missing his warmth.

Simone understood her fiance's company demanded a lot which was why they both never really had time for each other but today was Saturday, which meant whatever problem the company encountered was likely to be a very serious one.

All of a sudden Simone got worried, her brow furrowing in concern. What if it was a serious network bridge problem? Or maybe a problem with some foreign investors or even worse, the company might have been scammed by con artists and left in huge debt!

Okay Simonna Stop! Her subconscious halted her catastrophizing thoughts.

She sighed at her habitual manner of overthinking situations but couldn't help it. It was like her brain suffered an over thinking disorder or something, making her think the worst even in the slightest situations. Sometimes she wondered if it was normal.
