Meeting new people

Chapter 4:

Isabel's POV:

*3 weeks later*

"Isabel wake up. it's time to get ready." I heard my mom say as she opened my door "what day is it today?" I asked "it's Saturday Hun, we are going to Mrs.Brooke's house, remember?" She asked "right." Was all I mumbled before sitting up and looking around my clean room that Viv had cleaned yesterday. I got up and my feet hit the floor. I got up and glanced my blue jeans on the chair beside my nightstand and a Burgundy crop top and a knitted cardigan I threw it on and I walked to my bathroom and took out my make up, quickly doing it. I put my long brown hair in a messy ponytail and walked out.

"What do you want to eat?" My mom asked "um I'll just have one of Viv's carrot muffins she made yesterday." I said "oh alright." she said before leaving the kitchen to I assume get ready. I grabbed a muffin and sat down at the table I looked over and on the front cover of the news paper there was Casey her blonde hair perfect as can be and her blue eyes shining so brightly her lips plump and oh so kissable, with the headline 'STILL MISSING!' Oh, how Casey would just love all this attention she's getting. even when she's gone she still is praised and loved. "where are you going?" I heard my brother say as he entered our kitchen "Mrs.Brooke's" I said quietly "why? Casey's not there." He said ow that stung "I know. apparently I have to go meet all her old friends to feel comforted or some stupid crazy theory Mrs.B made up." I said sometimes I call her Mrs.B because it's easier. "I see, are any of her friends hot? I bet they are." Brenden said "I don't know I've never met them, but if you want to come you're welcome to." I said "open invitation." I added "yeah I don't think so a bunch of teenage girls crying about there missing friend doesn't seem like fun. even if they are hot." He gave me a smirk before leaving the room. wow does he have no feelings whatsoever? He used to have a crush on Casey and now he could care-less about her. maybe he thinks she's coming back. or maybe he doesn't like her at all, she did bug him a lot.

"Hello, Isabel! How are you today?" I was greeted by Mrs.Brooke's mom, how is she always so happy? "I'm fine, how about you?" I asked "I'm doing better thank you." she answered I smiled at her. this was the first time I had came over to Casey's house since she went missing. it smelt the same as it always did. I walked in, in front of my mom who now started talking to Mrs.B. I took my sneakers off and left them right beside a pair of Casey's old pink flip flops that she didn't even wear when she was here. I thought it was odd, she hadn't gave away most of her stuff, yeah maybe they hadn't found her or any clues about what happened but her stuff was taking up space. She could at least put it in storage. "come into the living room Bailey, Clara, and Elizabeth are all excited to meet you." Mrs.B said as we started walking down the hall way which led to the living room, everything was the same almost as if she was going to come down the stairs humming the tune 'Firework' by Katy Perry. i walked into the living room and there was 3 girls sitting there smiling one with blonde hair and two with brown. "hi." I croaked out it was kind of awkward I didn't know what Mrs.B wanted us to do. Become bff's? Tell each other our favourite things about Casey? Cry? "Hi." they said back the first girl stood up with brown hair "I'm bailey." she said sticking out her hand "hi, I'm Isabel." I said back the blonde one got up walking over to me "I'm Clara." She said I shook her hand too "isabel." "im Elizabeth." she got up and shook my hand "nice to meet you all." I said I walked over and sat in the brown chair that Casey used to love. "so where do you all live?" I asked "I live about 4 hours away." Clara said "I love 3 hours the other way." Elizabeth said "I live 6 hours away" Bailey finished "oh cool." way all I could say."

After about an hour we all were getting a long and I could hear my mom and Mrs.B talking away in the kitchen. "how long are you all staying down?" I asked "for the weekend." they all said at the same time and giggled "well maybe we could hang out then." I offered "I'd like that." Clara said "same." both Bailey and Elizabeth replied, I smiled. then there was a knock at the door and I heard Mrs.B go see who it was.

"Girls we are going to have to move the part else where." Mrs.B said "oh why?" I asked "um well there is a police officer that says they have to search Casey took again as they got a tip at the office as to what happened to her." she said my heard started pounding and I looked at the other girls there eyes wide as can be. "Ok" was all we said before getting up and leaving.

"Did you ever talk to the cops?" Bailey asked me "uh yeah I was with her when she disappeared that night, well not with her obviously but we we're suppose to be together that night." I said thinking back to that night.

"So ma'am, you didn't see Ms.Brooke's after midnight?" The police officer asked "no, I told you we went our separate ways and when I texted her she never replied." I said back "well we haven't found her phone yet so we are trying to track it, which may take a bit. but did Ms.Brooke's say where she was going? Who she was going to meet?" he asked "no I'm sorry she just said she was going to find a boy to kiss at midnight." I said a little embarrassed "okay, well does she have a boyfriend enemies, people who would want to hurt her?" He asked "she doesn't have a boyfriend, or anybody that would want to hurt her, everyone loves Casey." I said, which was a lie. she did talk about having a boyfriend which I thought she just said to make me jealous and there were plenty of people that hated Casey.. for different reasons.

Confusing I know it will be explained in the next chapter a little more. lots of questions! Get excited because in the 6th chapter there will be a BIG surprise!
