Just Pals (A Kallus x Zeb fanfic)

Chapter 4

Kallus was heartbroken. He decided to not let the fact that the love of his life had just broken his heart get him down. Instead, he would just focus on the mission and still try to look on the bright side as opposed to the old Kallus, who would have gone into a rage or seek revenge. By the time that Kallus and Zeb's conversation had come to an end, They had arrived at Ahch-To. When they had gotten there they quietly continued their search on foot unnoticed. Deb and Kallus distanced themselves and Sabine had noticed. She turned to Kallus and said, "Hey, whats going on between you two? You both have a different energy than before." Kallus replied back, "I told him I loved him and he said 'I can't do this' and ran off." Sabine thought to herself 'Omg Zeb had a case of gay panic'. Sabine then assured Kallus that he probably just didnt know what to say and panicked, but he still cared about Kallus very much. Ahsoka was walking with Zeb and said, "I sense a lot of tension between you and Kallus, care to explain?" Zeb replied with "He told me he loved me. Dont get me wrong I love him too, but I panicked and ive never loved anyone like I love him before, and I don't know what to do." Ahsoka suggested that Zeb and Kallus talk to eachother and express their feelings, and Zeb took it into consideration. During the walk that the crew to find ezra was taking, they saw a ship land in the distance and figured they should go check it out.
