Hero Among Shadows

Chapter 3

--- Lotal, Onder Subway Station

As he and Kaeda are near the subway train, Tanaka looks around the station in the hopes of finding a certain fire user among the busy passersby. It's been about 5 whole minutes since they came to the station, hoping to find a train to ride over to Musutafu. And of all days for Tora to oversleep, it just had to be the very first day at U.A. High.

"Still haven't seen him?" Kaeda asks Tanaka.

"Nope. He probably forgot to set up his alarm clock," Tanaka answers.

"Again? How many times has he done that?"

"Never kept count," was the reply. "I honestly didn't ask."

It's then that he hears the aforementioned Tora sprint towards him, before turning his head to the right. Seeing the redhead with a freaked-out expression on his face, while putting on the school uniform that was mailed to him in a hurry. Pretty obvious that he overslept.

"I overslept! I can't believe I overslept!" the brunette hears Tora exclaim as he speeds his way to the two.

"Forgot to turn your alarm on?" Tanaka asks, obviously knowing the answer.

"Well yeah man," Tora says. "I was so excited about starting high school that I completely forgot about it. I can't believe I did that again!" As soon as he finished putting on his uniform, he joins the other two and heads inside the train. The train then starts on its way toward Tatooin Station.

--- Musutafu, Outside of U.A. High

To say that the 30 minutes it took to get to Musutafu, as well as the 15 minutes of jogging to the front gates of U.A., would be a small pain would be an understatement. It would've taken them a lot sooner to get to the school if it weren't for the large crowds of people in their way. But despite that, they manage to get to the school with no hassle whatsoever.

With a unified nod of agreement between them, the boys simply head right inside.

--- U.A. Halls

"Alright, I'm in Class 1-A," Tanaka says, looking at the paper he's holding. "You guys?"

"I got 1-B," Tora brings up.

"1-H for me," quips Kaeda.

The trio was heading down the hall of the large school when they notice the sign for Class 1-A. As soon as they stop right below it, they find the door for the classroom to be rather large. No doubt to make sure that those with a Gigantification quirk can fit through.

Opening the door, all three boys look inside to find the classroom to be empty. 'Are we early or something?' was the thought that went through their heads simultaneously.
