Sheriff Forbes walks into the police station.

"Hey, Tony, I'm headed home for the night." She says as she walks over to another cop." Could you do me a favor and check up on he Lockwood place? Carol called, again, another five-martini stalker sighting. Oh, and some teenager's are planning a bonfire off route 13. No one's called to complain yet, but they will. See you." She walks away and walks into an empty room where the phone is ringing. She walks over to the picks it up." Forbes." I'll be right there." She then puts the phone down and walks out the room.

She walked into the ER back and seen a body on a bed with a white sheet over it. She see's one of her co-workers.

"What happened?"

"Accident up at Wickery Bridge. Driver lost control, careened off."

"Any other casualties?" She asks as they walk down the hall.

"Two."

"Survivors?"

"One. We found her, up on the bank unconscious. She must have crawled out of the car and passed out." Forbes looks and see's they are pushing an unconscious Elena to a room.

"Elena Gilbert. where's her sister and brother? Who were the casualties?"

"Miranda and Grayson. Her parents." She couldn't believe what she just heard.

Sheriff Forbes is carrying an box with files in it. She puts it on her desk then makes her way out the room. She stops in the doorway turns around and walks back into the room. She walks over to the white box that had open cases written on the side. She takes the top off and pulls out a blue file. She looks at and it says the Gilbert accident.

I walk in the living-room and seen Zack and Stefan on the couch watching I love Lucy. Stefan looks at me and smiles.

"Hey." He says.

"Hey." I walk in the living room and Stefan gets up from the couch." Where is Miranda?"

"She went with Damon and Elena." He walks over and gives me a kiss.

"Where did they go?" I ask as we pulled apart.

"To the high-school. They are gonna talk to the principal." Zack throws his cup on the floor.

"Why did Damon take Miranda?"

"I didn't ask Damon." Stefan says. I Nod my head and pull out my phone. Stefan grabs my phone." Miranda is fine."

" I was calling Caroline." He laughs and we walk into the living room .

"This school is big. When I am older i'm going to come here?" Miranda asks Damon.

"Princess you are going to go to a better school." Damon says as they sit down. The principle walks and and sits across from them.

"Principal Weber... I know that graduation isn't for a few months... but Jeremy just got accepted into this great art school." Elena says.

"Jeremy Gilbert? I don't think so. Not with his academic record."

"What's wrong with it?"

"You have a few hours? All right, let's start with drug use in his freshman year." The principle says.

"You mean the year his parents died?" Damon says.

"Okay. So, what's the excuse for the next three years of woeful attendance?" Weber says as he looked at his notes.
