The sun was shining bright, the ground was dry. There was water no where to be found. I walked for what seemed like days but it was only a few hours. Diamond walked ahead of me. She was determined to find an easy way of progression. I limped behind her as I was exhausted from the heat. Sweat dripped down my face and our only bit of water was used to kill a spider we saw and we thought it was funny. Back in the Republic of Ireland we never had weather this bad, it was usually cool or cold. Mostly cold. Me and Diamond hadn't spoken for hours, mainly because our mouths were dry and we needed as much saliva as we could get to keep our mouths moist.
"Hey, look at this van!" Diamond shouted. I ran over to her and had a look inside. It seemed like it worked. I searched around for the keys. They were nowhere to be found. "I think I can Hotwire this" I said as I opened up the dashboard and started playing with the wires. Eventually the engine started up and Diamond climbed in. The fuel gage was full and what's even better was that The Fab Four could use it! "This is a pretty cool van" Diamond said. Her accent was so intriguing. She was from England and she had a beautiful London accent that was a delight to the ears when she spoke. "Yeah, I like it" I replied. We had a long journey ahead and the sun was setting. We decided to stop as to not get the attention of any Draculoids patrolling the area. I lit a fire as the sun went down, over the horizon and as the moon rose brightly above.
Diamond sat close to the fire. She put her hands out and felt the warmth. I took my guitar from off my back and unzipped the case. "Fancy a song?" I asked as if I were a gentleman. Diamond replied with "Yes" and sat closer to me. I began playing as we both sang together;

Sing it out
Boy you've got to see what tomorrow brings
Sing it out
Girl you've got to be what tomorrow needs
For every time that they want to count you out
Use your voice every single time you open up your mouth

Sing it for the boys, sing it for the girls
Every time that you lose it sing it for the world
Sing it from the heart
Sing it till you're nuts
Sing it out for the ones that'll hate your guts

Sing it for the deaf
Sing it for the blind
Sing about everyone that you left behind
Sing it for the world, sing it for the world

We continued singing through the night. We eventually got tired and fell asleep as the weather was colder but we were cuddled closely together to stay warm.
