This story is 90% smut. And the other 10% is super intense emotions. It's kind of a lot. Maybe read this when you're alone and comfortable. I wrote this with the intention of it being emotional but also a little comforting. It has nice scenery. Kylo is also very gentle.
This story takes place in the reader's dreams. **Italicized means the reader is AWAKE. I didn't want to make you read full chapters of italicized text, that's a nightmare.
If things ever feel confusing or unrealistic, it's because it's occurring in dreams. Dreams are disorienting and I think the story reflects that. The tone and pace is a bit different too.
Now some important trigger warnings! Kylo is very instructive in this. He is constantly telling the reader what to do, but its all written to be consensual. In the last chapter there's a part where the reader tries to push him off during sex. This is not because she does not want it. You'll see why this occurs when you get there, but it could be triggering. He also calls her 'little one'. This sounds like dd/lg but it wasn't actually meant that way. Just a nickname. This one's important: it is thoroughly discussed that the reader is experiencing numbness in real life. This could be translated as depression. Kylo also mentions that she's 'starting to give up'. Obviously this could be extremely triggering. This is a very emotional story (even though it's 90% smut). Please, please, take caution. For me personally, I found the story to be comforting. You might find it that way too, just depends. There is also some body admiration. This might be positive or it could be triggering. You know yourself better than I do.
