"How could this be fair father!" Guin said as she barged into her father's chambers. " What was that dear? King Urther replied, not amused by his daughters actions."I will not...not adhere to this command, you must reconsider." Guin paced in anger then reluctantly sat on her father's bed. She stared miserably into his eyes, hoping to find some compassion. King Urther signed then turned and walked to his balcony.
The morning air was welcoming, from his balcony he could see villagers going about their daily duties some even stoping to wave as he emerged from his doors.
King Urther was loved by all Camelot, many would give their lives for his and he did his best to make sure they new he appreciated it. Since his reign he had rebuilt Camelot and made its soldiers a force to reckon with.
"Father!? Guin said feeling impatient and clearly let it sound in her voice. Urther turned to his daughter "Yes, Guinevere" he said in preparation for his daughter's next words. "I will not attend classes with commoners, I am the kings daughter...your daughter how could I mingle with people of lesser caliber. You must reconsider." Urther walked over to his daughter and placed his hands loving on her shoulders "Guinevere you are 17 yrs on this earth and within this time you have been selfish, reckless and completely defiant." He slowed as he realized his tone was betraying him. He stared once again into the morning air. "You are destined to be queen because I do not have a son...." he turned now to look at his daughter "your choices, Guinevere will affect the life's of thousands. Maybe by seeing how 'commoners' live you will be a better queen"
