Jadore's POV:

I woke up this morning to a gm text from Teze and him telling me how excited he was to see me tonight, I responded but it was dry cause I was wishing it was Aug but I'm assuming he hadn't landed yet, I went through my morning motions and after my 10:00 class I finally gotta text from Aug saying he'd made it safely to the west coast and he'd check on me later. I smiled at the text and just responded, "glad you made it safely and okay." Later on that night while I was getting dressed to have dinner with Teze Aug face timed me, I was going back and forth in my thoughts as to whether or not I should answer, fuck it I did, *connecting* "Wassup ma" Aug face appeared on the screen with his black hoodie on. "Hiii" I said blushing "damn you looking good, where you headed shawty?" "Aww thank you, and just to have dinner with a friend or whatever, nothing serious..." "Dinner huh, tell that nigga keep his hands to hisself, I got my goons watching ya, ya heard me" "Lol, whatever nigga, and who said it was a nigga?" "Man, ain new to this, you ain't looking that good for one of your homegirls lol, but nah, it's cool or whatever...for now but when you become my Ol lady that shit gone have to seize😏" "Lol, yeah yeah, it's actually a business dinner that's all. But anyway enough about me how was your day, I missed you a little lol" I said changing the subject applying lipstick to my lips "It was straight, Hella busy 4 interviews today 6 more tomorrow then I'm headed to the east coast, I missed you too" "Thank you for my vm it was really sweet" I said noticing it was 6:50 && knowing Teze he would be here at any moment. "You're welcome, I can't wait to get back and kick it, I was thinking with Halloween around the corner you could come with me to take my nieces to the pumpkin patch and trick or treating I'm knowing Kay would love to see you again lol" "Aww, I'd love to but I promised my nieces I'd come home and take them to some haunted houses and stuff" "That's cool, you should send for them and we can all get acquainted, I'll give you the money to send for them aitte?" "Aug, what do I keep telling you, I don't need your money, I'm good, but I think that'll be fun." "Cool cool, well I'm getting ready to eat myself so I can lay down a real nigga tired you feel me, Imma holla atcha later aitte?" "Mmmkay, ttyl" I said smiling and ending the FaceTime, just like clock work Teze was ringing the door bell and I was headed to dinner.

Korteze's POV

Ain gone lie, I was really glad my babe was giving me a chance to take her out on a date and I knew with this surprise I had for her she'd take me back. I got fresh as fuck in my tailored suit put on my signature cologne that I know she loves so much, checked my waves out again in the mirror grabbed the roses off the counter && I was headed out the door. I arrived to Dore's spot around 6:55 && knocked on the door. She opened the door and was looking amazing, damn I forgot how good she looked in all black. "These are for you" "Aww thanks Teze, I love roses but you've already given me so many lol, I appreciate them though" she said grabbing them placing them in water. "You look amazing Jadore" "Thank you Teze, you don't look half bad yourself" she said laughing "Well dang, can a nigga get a hug or something lol" "Of course, mmmm I see you have on my favorite cologne" "yeah, just a Lil some'n some'n, mmm, I miss holding you, you smell really good yourself" I said inhaling the side of her neck. She broke my embrace and asked was I ready "Yes, I'm ready. I hope you're ready for this surprise I have for you" "I hope so too lol" I grabbed her hand and we headed to the car, I had the radio playing and we were just talking catching up actually having a good ride when the Dj came on the radio and said, "Ladies this guy has just announced he's going to be headlining his own tour called Testimony in January tickets go on sale next month but right now check out his new single featuring my dude Jeezy on hot 103" when the intro came on it just fell silent in the car and I could see a little smile appear on her face as she started to stare out the window and that shit lowkey pissed me the fuck off, I wanted to changed the station but ain wanna come off as a hater so I let that shit play and ain gone lie the kid got mad talent but he fucking with my girl and it don't work like that. It took about five more minutes until we arrived at our destination. "We're here baby" I said pulling up to Ruth Chris Steak house. "Mmmm I'm starving I'm ready to take me a nice steak down through there lol" she said as I pulled up to valet && opened the door for her. "Good evening sir, is there a reservation?", the host asked. "Yes reservation under Morris, Korteze Morris." "Ahh right this way sir" the host took us to our table and said our waiter would be with us momentarily.

Jadore's POV

So Korteze and I were just making small talk catching up on our way to dinner when I heard the DJ on the radio talking about August && his upcoming tour and then right after that he started playing Make It Home of course I started thinking back to my vm he left me as I stared out the window and it brought a light smile on my face, I was really missing this guy. About five minutes later we pulled up to Ruth Chris and I was elated cause my ass is hungry and I hardly ever eat steak but I was planning on taking one down through there tonight. Once we got seated we ordered drinks and food continued to talk "Jadore, thanks again for seeing me, I really miss you && I hate what happened the last time I saw-" "Korteze, it's fine, I don't wanna talk about that right now, let's just enjoy this moment" just then the waiter came back out with our food and I was relieved I ordered me another drink because he was starting to piss me off just a little "and 2 shots of patron too please" "yes ma'm right away" "So what's this big surprise you have for me Teze" I said cutting up my steak and taking a bite. "Keep calm, I'm going to tell you, let's just enjoy dinner first, you remember the first time I brought you here our freshman year?" "Yeah and you told me not to bring anything cause it was all on you and at the end of the night our check was high as shit and you didn't have it so we played diner dash lol" "hell yeah lmao, I thought for sure you would break up with me after that for making you have to run in your high heels and you almost broke your ankle lmao!" "Man what! I can still remembering us jetting to the impala, thank God I ran track or our asses would've been caught lol! Oh wow, I slick had forgot about that for a minute wowww good times" I said throwing back my shots of tequila. We finished eating and ordered a couple more drinks and shots and finally he was ready to tell me my surprise. "So I know you're graduating in December and I couldn't be more proud of you, I got with one of my frat brother who's dad is a child's psychologist and he said that he's willing to take you under his wing and give you a job right away after graduation and even help you start your own practice after grad school." "OMG OMG OMG!!! I squealed!! "Are you serious right now, that's amazing I've been looking already but wow!!! I can't believe it that's incredible news and before I knew it I reached across the table and kissed Korteze like my life depended on it. Idk if it was the shots or just overwhelmed from the good news but I was feeling good.

Korteze POV

Just as I thought she was elated but what I haven't told her yet is the job is in Brooklyn, Ny and I know she's gonna still take it cause it's a once in a life time opportunity. I plan to propose to her on her graduation night and do it right this time since all the secrets are out and I'll be moving upstate with her.

Jadore's POV

"Mmmm those lips are so soft" Korteze said pulling away from me and reaching in his wallet to pay for the check "Let's get out of here and continue to celebrate at my place" by then I was so horny I was ready to go! We got up and retrieved his car from valet and headed towards his place those tequila shots had me on 100. We were literally almost there to Korteze's apartment when my phone started vibrating and I checked to see who it was and Daddy Aug popped across the screen with the profile pic I added of him as it was ringing I just looked at his beautiful face and those sexy lips and started feeling bad, I didn't answer the call trying to push aside the guilt and right as we were pulling up into the driveway Aug texted me: Hey mama, fell asleep and woke back up with you on the brain. I'm getting ready to doze back off but I want you to know I miss you and I hope your business dinner went good. Night shawty. Right then the alcohol that had me tipsy disappeared and I was sober as hell. "Ummm Korteze on second thought, I don't think this is a good idea, can you take me home please?" "But Dore we just got here bae pleaseeee come inside with me." "No Teze, I need to go home, I'll call a cab, don't worry about it." "Nall Dore no need to call a cab, I got you" he said cranking up the engine and backing out the driveway. When we made it to my apt he got out and opened my door "Thank you for a good night and congratulations on your job offer" he said kissing my forehead "Thanks Teze, I really appreciate it." After that he walked me to the door and left. When I got in I texted Aug back: Hey bae, I know you're sleep, hate I missed your call but I received some really good news can't wait to share it with you! Goodnight boo.😚😚 After that I put my phone on the charger and went in my closet to retrieve my vibrator I guess I was still horny, I handled my business and after I came I got up took a shower then got in the bed and dozed off, I think I behaved myself tonight. 😌
