Aria loved the sun, the heat, the warmth. It made her feel alive, almost like she was being hugged constantly. She loved the heated sand between her toes and the splashing of salt water.

She hated that she lived in Forks it was miserable, wet, foggy, humid and depressing. They were only there because of her Mother, the rest of her family moved up to Alaska but Aria didn't like the snow or the freezing temperatures either so maybe it work out better for her in the long run. Aria wished didn't feel the cold like her family did but her vampire genetics didn't cover all the human flaws. Aria wish she had met her father, then she could of gotten out of the frost quicker.

The cancer took him when he was travelling for work. Renesmee locked herself and her newborn baby in the house they bought on the outskirts of forks. She barely went out the house or saw her family, she couldn't bond with her baby, she had lost interest in everything. She was forced to go doctors by Bella, Edward and Alice. She was diagnosed with postnatal depression.

Renesmee was aware of her mates illness, the plan was to change him once he had cut some lose ends with family and they could be a happy 'normal' family.

Jacob was a bit bitter about Renesmee finding someone else but was somewhat happy for her and decided to focus on the pack, training the new shapeshifters and having a girlfriend that was head over heals for him. At the back of his head he wanted to be with her but he respected her life choices and decision. While trying to care for her in brotherly way other than romantic partner.
Jacob loved Aria she was such a funny child, always laughing, outgoing, caring and very cheeky. The best thing was that she wasn't developing as fast as Renesmee had. Carlisle predict it would take 14 years for her to reach full maturity. Aria had a longer time to be a child, a teenager and a grumpy one at that.

Renesmee long curly bronzed hair trailed down her body, her rich cocoa eyes laughing and her pink shell lips upturned. A tanned hand wrapped around her waist, freckles dotted the man, intense blue eyes creased in the corners and short amber hair glowing. They were standing in the forest with the orange and mustard leaves dancing around them.

So happy, such a perfect scene.

That's what Aria thought as she sat in her uni flat staring out of the window into busy London.

It was 4pm and Aria was knackered from the previous night, slouching in her chair. Glitter and mascara crusting her face. Pimms and tobacco staining her breath. Her eye bags were forming into bruises, merging into her freckles and veins. It was February, the frost was slowly melting away and the sun was glowing on top of the misty city. Aria fingers gently brushing over the worn photo trying to grasp onto life.

Buzzing emerged from her bed.
"Aria I think it's your phone", the dark haired boy muttered. Throwing it at her as he lay topless on her bed, grabbing her oversized jumper.
"Thanks Emem," replies Aria, her eyes twinkling at him. Emem rolled his eyes lightly standing up quickly and giving her a quick peck on the cheek, ambling into the bathroom.
"Hi Mom. What do you want at this time of day?"
"I'm just checking on you. How's Uni going lovely?" chuckled the mother.
"Same old, same old," huffed the sickly pale girl.
"Any cute boys or girls this year?" she joked.
Aria stomach dropped a little. Her love life was a tiny bit complicated. She had been in the most relationships out everyone she was related to but she still had not found the one. She was currently 'dating', if that's what you would call it, Emem.
Deep olive skin, button nose, a sharp jaw, short coiled hair that reflected every source of light and the deepest coal black eyes, that looked red or blue in different lightings.
He was perfection to Aria in every way, his personality was calm, cool and caring but they couldn't fully be each other's because she was scared.

Scared that her true 'mate' was out there and she had turned her previous lover for selfish reasons on not wanting to be alone forever. Aria hated the whole thing of that your mate has already been chosen for you, it's destiny, you were 'made' for each other because at the end of the day Aria wanted to spend her time with as many people as possible, fall in love, fall out of love. Have that 'human' experience of not really having one partner or not knowing your one partner. It made life more exciting.

"Ehh, I guess so? But not really. Maybe. I'll update you on that one," spluttered Aria.
"Awww, someone's has a crush," sang Renesmee. Aria looked at the bed then looked at the multiple pictures of them together. It's a bit more than a crush, unless she's his personal stalker.
"Hmm yeah you keep on wishing."
"How's that girl your friends with? The one who looked after you?" Renesmee question.
"Eileen? She's doing great actually."
"Good, good. How's doctors and therapy appointments going?" asked Renesmee in a softer tone.
"Therapy is going okay. Doctors on the other hand are a bit worried about me but the pass week I have been trying harder. It's just difficult when you don't have someone constantly over your shoulder telling you what to eat etc."
"I understand, if you need to take a break. If you can't do everything at once Aria."
"I will be fine Mom. I just need to push through," said Aria, lying through her teeth. She really did not want to recover, she hated the idea of being a 'failed anorexic' and obviously you can't fail at having a disorder, it's not a swimming competition but in Aria's head it might as well be one.
"If you say so hunny. But I got to go, YEAH ALICE ONE MINTUE, we're having a proper conversation about all of this when I get back to forks."
"Okay, I love you Mom."
"Love you too Darling."
"Who were on the phone to?" Emem questioned with a grey towel wrapped around his waist, water droplets running down his skin.
"Mom."
"Mom? Mum," teased Emem with his cheeky grin.
"Don't you start on me. I already had this off everyone else."
"But it's so easy to wind you up," Emem smiled, came over and kissed her on the lips.
"What we doing today?" Aria asked.
"Well there's that new Mexican restaurant that serves halal meat and vegan options. That Saadi wants to go to."
"Okay, but don't be surprised if I don't eat."

Aria was honest and open about her eating disorder to Emem and he understood it up to a point and gave her space about it. Not wanting push her away, like he had seen she had done to previous people when they're down her throat about not eating.

"Okay. Get dressed then, I will go message the group chat."
