Chapter 39

"Thank you so much for showing us " I smiled at the realtor "It truly is beautiful" 

"It's alright" Natsu shrugged as we left the 3rd house we were visiting today. I lightly slapped his chest "What, it's not better than our house"

"Stop it" I scolded him

"You said that about the last 2 houses" he put his hands in his pockets.

"Well, there's still one more house I'd like to show you" he clapped his hands together, "It is a little farther away but still, very nice neighborhood and I know school district is important to you so its on the edge of the town between 2 districts"

"Oh, um yeah" I looked over at Natsu "As in like elementary, middle so on?" I asked a little confused.

"Mr. Dragneel said it was important that children could go to school" he nodded as he showed us out of the house.

"Of course" I smiled and followed him out "We'll follow you to the next house" I looked at our realtor as I got into Natsu's car. "So, you're just planning out the perfect house and life for us and you aren't including me?" I crossed my arms and sat back in my seat.

"I thought this is what you wanted" he scoffed as he started the car and began following the car in front of us.

"Yeah but I wanted to do it together, look I'm not mad because you're letting change happen and you're doing this for me I'm extremely happy about that" I dropped my arms "I hate surprises, and I hate not having a say in things, I love you and I love us, we move fast that's our thing but I just want to do it together" 

"But we're doing this together now" he glanced at me.

"I just want to plan everything that could be life changing together, like you mentioning kids to a realtor I had no idea about." I sighed "I don't want to fight anymore it's exhausting, I just wanna be involved in everything"

"Ok, whatever you want" he took one of my hands and kissed the back of it.

"Also a little heads up for this would've been nice, I look like a teenager looking for houses with her dad" he looked over at me before looking back at the road and pulling into a driveway. "I could've thrown on a blouse or a dress or something that doesn't look like I just rolled out of bed"

"Next time" he parked and took the keys out "Cmon last house of the day we can go back home after this and do it all again tomorrow if you want" he undid his seat belt. 

"Fine" I smiled and followed his actions before swinging open the door and jumping out "I'm excited to see this last house, the outside already looks amazing" I smiled even bigger waving my hands around looking at the exterior. 

"This is one of the better houses" Natsu nodded as he walked over and put an arm around my waist. 

"This is actually one of the more expensive houses, starting at 5.2 million jewels" the realtor clapped his hands together before waving to the door "Shall we go inside?" He grabbed the door handle.

"Please" I walked forward with Natsu trailing behind.

"This was such a gorgeous house, by far the best one today" I smiled, "Thank you so so much, we'll be in contact" I shook his hand.

"I'm looking forward to it, have a nice day" he waved before getting in his car. 

"I love this house, I'm in love with this house" I practically shouted at Natsu as I looked back at the house "Everything about it, it's so perfect the backyard, there's a pool, the kids could have a playroom, they can have their own rooms, we both can have offices, the kitchen is gorgeous, theres a finished basement, 4 floors!" I rambled on and on as we walked to the car "Levy can even have her own room when she visits, so can Wendy, and we can still have guest rooms"
