It was now 2015 and it had been about 2-3 weeks since Ebony and Michael had their 'date'. Ever since then, they had been inseparable.
It was near the end of school break and today Mari, Bella, Luke, Ashton and Ebony all decided to meet up. Calum and Michael were both away so couldn't make it.
"Sooo, have you spoken to Michael much lately?" Mari asked Ebony as the five of them walked into the cinema.
"Yeah, we FaceTime every other day" Ebony replied, trying to make out that it was no big deal.
"That's so cute!" Bella squealed, making Luke wince as he had his arm over her shoulder and she practically screamed down his ear.
"I guess so, he's a really good friend" Ebony beamed.
"Just a friend?" Ashton asked raising his eyebrows.
"Yeah, why?" Ebony questioned, confused.
"Because he doesn't stop talking about you!" Luke pipped up, making Ebony blush.
"And you don't stop talking about him" Bella added.
"Yeah well we are just friends" Ebony insisted, wanting to drop it "what film are we seeing anyway?"
"I think we should watch a comedy" Mari said, looking round the group to see if everyone approved.
"Sure" Luke replied, while everyone just nodded.
"Nahh, I think we should watch a horror!" Ashton suggested, excitedly.
"A horror?!" Bella repeated, shaking her head in disgust.
"Yeah really?! I'm terrified of horrors!" Ebony groaned, while Mari agreed.
Luke just laughed "well I'm down for any film!" He said, kissing the top of Bella's head "and you don't have to be scared when you have me"
"Come on guys please!" Ashton begged "the Woman in Black two has just come out and it looks amazing!"
"Alright fine" the girls grumbled.
"Great! You guys get the tickets and me and Ebony will get the snacks!" He announced, dragging Ebony to the snack counter.
"You looking forward to the film?" Ashton asked, raising an eyebrow as they stood at the end of the queue.
"Not really" Ebony admitted, nervously.
"Your not afraid are you?" He teased, and when Ebony nodded, he just laughed "well sit next to me and I'll protect you"
"Ok" Ebony giggled as Ashton wrapped and arm around her shoulder.
"Hey, so what's up with you and Mikey then?" He asked curiously.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, is there something going on?" He winked.
"Oh no, we are just friends, why?"
"Just wondering, you guys seem like you like each other"
"Naaah" Ebony laughed, trying to dismiss the convocation "don't be silly"
Ashton looked down at his feet, smiling, before looking back up into her eyes.
"You know, we should hang out some time, I barely see you outside school"
"Yeah sure, Id like that" Ebony beamed.
After collecting the snacks, Ashton and Ebony met the others by the screening room doors and they all made their way through.
"Hey, um Ash?" Mari said, coming up by his side "I was wondering if you wanted to sit together?"
"Aww, I'd love to but I already promised id sit next to Ebony" he said, making Mari frown.
