An old man who's stories made children gather around always told different wonders that seemed too real but yet far from the reality of this world. There was always one he always told of old days gone and new beginnings, Through the forest he said no matter where or which one you choose there will always be old rotting remains of buildings be it archways, door sills, halls or stairs left to be forgotten...he told on, "through them is which you will pass to other lights and darks, peace and chaos which will you find the world's await." We enjoyed them till one day the man just vanished , no trace, no home, family nor past it was as he never existed. The children forgot about the man but always remembered the stories. Though they couldn't remember I was the only one that seemed to have his image in my mind... I guess he filled a void that needed filling and a memory was what kept on my daily going. Till... One day I found out they where not but just fantasies but a truth that was never denied yet never taken seriously.

I walked through the forest lost, having been left yet again, wondering and taking in the fauna and flora and there deep in between the thick leaves and mossy rocks laid abandoned a cobblestone archway... But it was more than one... 'What a silly arrangement of architecture' I thought to myself as there where all placed in a circle crumbling covered in vines dirt and moss. "What was here requiring such a placement..." Curious I passed my hand over the stone feeling a surge of warmth, confused by the feeling I pulled back looking at my hand but nothing was different "Strange." Feeling memories of times way back when flowing back, got me to think 'would those words of an impossible reality be true' my yearning for something more.... Something that could take me out of this place wich not welcomed me grew and so I took a breath and only placed my hand through , but.... Nothing occurred and so I kept trying going around repeating the same thing on the others till I stopped at the last one wich looked older already starting to crumble.
Already out of motivation and hope I tried once more. "GAH! " There part where my arm went through was not there anymore but I could still move it and stepped back reappearing again.
'Could it really be true?' My doubt grew but my eyes didn't have a reason to deceive me. My arm once again dissapeard and I looked if it was shown through the back , but nothing. As I started to believe it wasn't but just another dream , I looked back. 'There's nobody waiting for me...what is still holding my mind back' there was only the thought of maybe someone cared but pushed it away taking the leap of faith closing her eyes.... *sounds of wind and waterfalls accompanied by other sound pleasing to the ear* Once I opened my eyes, I couldn't even believe what they where showing me my breath taken away by it "It... Was always true" Wich made me wonder if my eyes where looking at what was reality, what if the other tales held more truth to them than we thought....
