The Hidden Princess (revised)

Chapter 1

Chapter One

            There once was a prophecy made many years ago, that a girl would be born of light and poisoned by dark, and would then become the ruler of both Dark and Light. It was said that she would bring the two together and there would be peace the world has never known. It is fore told that being from the dark would try and steal her; in the process this would cause great pain and suffering. For if the Dark took control of the girl both worlds would go to war. One side must not take her for their own benefit. She will be brought into this world on the night she turns eighteen.

         Until it is her time to enter this world, she will have a group of warriors from each world that are completely devoted to keeping her safe, and protecting her from either side. It will be this group of warriors that will inform her of what is to come. It is said that she will be gifted with four abilities 1) She will be able to hear the thoughts of those around her, 2) She will be able to calm other with a touch, 3) She will be able to see that past and future of someone with a touch, and 4) She will be able to sense if you are true in your intentions. The girl will have birthmark over her heart in the shape of a crown.

            Long ago, in a land not known to the human world was the Land of the Light and the Land of the Dark. The Land of the Light was ruled by the King and his beloved Queen, they ruled with a firm yet just hand and were beloved by there people who looked to them for guidance and protection. The King and his Queen had ruled over their people for many years in peace. The King and Queen had two sons that were sent away a long time ago to be trained to be warriors.

        After the two brothers were sent away the Queen desperately wanted a daughter and was finally blessed with daughter whom they named Evangeline, or Angel because that is exactly what she was to them, their Angel. Angel was special she was born with a unique birthmark in the shape of a crown right over her heart. The King and Queen kept this quite for fear of the prophecy coming true.

         Until the King of the Dark found out through a spy who then tried to poison Angel with a deathly herb in her crib, but was caught by the King just in time for him to be able to save her before to much damage was done. When the King of Dark learned of this he led an attack on Light, and stole Evangeline from her parents, who were killed in the attack.

            The King of the Dark knew of the prophecy and left the girl in the Human world to die in hopes of the prophecy never coming true. The King was not aware that she had any siblings and thought there was now no heir to the Land of the Light and spread his rule over to the Land of Light. The King was sure he had won and ruled without mercy for a very long time.

            Little did he know that Her brothers were watching in the shadows and took her to safety, and raised her  in the Human world until it was safe for Her to be known to their world again. The brothers knew they could not let anyone know of her, so they selected a trusted few warriors that were trained to protect her and they all moved to a place called Montana where there was plenty of forest to build a home and train for the day they would be needed to protect her from the evil.
