The ride back to Liam's was short and sweet. The beta decided to lighten the mood and put on some Nikki Minaj because, who doesn't love some Nikki? The boys vibed to the classics until, after what felt like seconds, they arrived at Liam's house.

The house was nothing special, it was just you're average childhood home.

The boys swiftly got out of the car and headed to the door which Liam promptly unlocked.

"Welcome to my humble abode!" Liam joked as he gestured for Theo to enter.

Theo smiles and walked nervously inside. It was so... clean? Theo'd been living in his old rusty truck for almost a year now so he was used to having to live in a huge mess, but here everything had a place. A place it belonged. The chimera envied that.

He found himself block out Liam and the gibberish he was spewing so instead walked over to a display of family photos. Well really it was just pictures of Liam.

Pictures of baby Liam. Pictures of Liam's first steps. Pictures of Liam when he learnt how to ride a bike. Pictures of Liam when he broke his arm riding said bike. Picture of his first day of elementary school, middle school, high school. You name it, there was a picture.

"Theo? You ok there bud." Liam asked as he approached him.

"Um yeah, yeah I'm good, thanks." Theo replied, snapping out his his trancelike state.

"Sooooo did you wanna go on Xbox or..."

"Actually could we just sleep? I'm pretty tired since some crazy person on a run decided to wake and kidnap me" Theo chuckled

"What kind of psycho would do that?" Liam gasped, playing along, "but yea I'm pretty tired too, a crazy guy in a truck screamed and scared me on a run so."

The two continued chattering as they walked up the stairs and into the betas room.

"Hey Theo... think fast!" Liam almost shouted as he threw a pair of joggers and a t-shirt to the chimera.

Despite being caught off guard, Theo caught the clothes.

"What are these for?" Theo asked, genuinely confused.

"You too sleep in, dummy!"

"Why can't I just where these" Theo sighed and motioned to his dirty and ripped jeans and hoodie.

"Because they need to be washed, like now. Who knows what kind of diseases they're carrying! These no way on earth you're getting in my bed with those one."

"Well good thing I'm sleeping on the floor then" Theo snapped.

"Over my dead body you are! That's just as bad as the truck. I mean, when was the last time you had a good nights sleep?"

"Ok fine, but you're not sleeping on the floor either."

"It's settled then, share the bed."

"Deal," Theo said firmly "now I'm gonna just get changed."

"Me too, I'll go in there." Liam said as he pointed towards his en-suite and walked into it, half closing the door.

As Liam began to undress, he felt his eyes creep cautiously through the gap in the doorway and caress over Theo's sculpted body. How did he keep so in shape when he's been living in that truck for god knows how long? Liam didn't know and didn't care, he was just happy to be enjoying the view.

After starting at Theo for what felt like seconds, Liam snapped out of the trance like state only to be greeted  by countless questions. It was almost as if the questions came out of his head and appeared in front of him.

Taunting him.

"Li? You good little wolf?" a concerned Theo asked.

"Yeah, yeah all good. I'll be out in two." Liam responded as he frantically threw on his pj, a pair of comfy sweatpants, before emerging to find Theo already settled in his bed.

"We'll go turn off the lights then. Wait you don't sleep with them on right? Look Liam, you're a great guy but I just don't see this working out, you sleep with the light on, I don't. We're like pineapple on pizza!" Theo said  sort of throwing  his at the beta.

"Jeez give me time to answer man! No i don't sleep with the light on I'm not a psycho!"

"Oh. Good then." Smiled Theo as the lights were turned off and the Liam climbed into his side of the bed.

"Night little wolf"

"Night satan"

Silence echoed beacon hills hospital as Theo rushed to escape the unbearable pain he sensed in the mortuary. Doors swung open as panic set in; Theo knew exactly what happened next.

"Theo" came the familiar taunt of her voice "Theo there's no escape. There's no point running."

The chimeras mouth opened but no sound came out.  He stood perfectly frozen in a corridor of the hospital, fear in full control of his every move. He stood there. He just stood there. What felt like hours passes until the inevitable sound his sister destroyed the once stillness of Theo soul.

Tara slowly creeped out of the shadows, the light shining on the whole where her heart was meant to be, literally.

"Tara, please. Not again..." theo begged as the corpse of his sister made her way over to him but he was too late.

Tara dug her long, dirty fingernails into her little brothers chest and ripped out her heart, smiling as she did. Theo fell yelled out in pain and fell to his knees at the hand of his first kill before hitting the ground. Hard.
//

"Tara, please. Not again..."
Liam heard Theo mutter these words under his breathe before the screaming started.

"Theo!" A startled, half awake Liam shouted over the screams of the chimera, "Theo it's ok! You're safe, you're ok"

Liam continued to comfort Theo until his screams turned into cries. Pain echoed through the house as the boys sat in bed, one screaming, crying, the other trying to hold back the tears that threatened to fall down his soft, plat cheek. He knew he couldn't cry. He had to be strong, for Theo.

Liam held Theo. He just held him, one hand wrapped around the chimera, the other on his chest, on his heart. They stayed like even when the crying stoped and Theo's body gave in to sleep, except now they were laying down. Only when he knew Theo was peacefully asleep did the beta close his eyes and allow his mind to drift of to a different world.
